Weyerbacher Hops Infusion

12oz bottle. Pours a sunburnt orange a small white head that leaves pretty quickly. Aroma is fairly nice hops, citrus, orange with a little bit of bready malts underneath - which are not so pleasant. A little bit of vomit aroma too, also not pleasant. Taste is watery at first, then citrusy orange, then fairly bitter with a fairly bitter finish. Thin to medium bodied. Unremarkable.

Wicked bittering hop attack. Aroma is lightly citrusy with little malt to speak of. The brew is all about the loooong bitter finish. Solid but perhaps a bit too one dimensional. Lacks any mitigating malt character.

Pours a cloudy, orange color into the tulip with a quick inch of white, fluffy head. The scent was a big hoppy and earthy with notes of citrus. The flavor was very citrusy with grapefruit, spices and a slight malt backbone. A nice clean finish with a bitter end. A solid IPA.

Nice golden/amber color, with nice thin head. Nose is grapefruit with a hint of evergreen. Flavor Hops, who would have guessed? A good beer for this style.

This is part of a beer club. Had only one bottle but was decent for the price. Poured great and had a nice finish. Would do again.

Nice hop ale. Pours with beatiful color and full rich head, nice. Strong hop ale flavor without predominance for any specific hop. Finishes with nice malt balance. Nice hop ale.

Aroma is piney and citrusy. Color and head are typical of the style. Not much malt flavor before the hops kick in. Medium mouthfeel quickly gives way to astringency. A good beer for spicy food; definitely not a session beer.
