Commercial Description:
Hops Infusion exhibits deep malt characteristics- this beer has undeniable character and body. Glowing a deep amber color, Hops Infusion is brewed with seven types of hops. The result is unmistakable-- hop-heavenly flavor with earthy, spicy, sharp citrus notes. Hops Infusion has four times the dry-hopping as our already hoppy IPA.

Pours copper with a white thin head. Smells of citrus, some perfume, dough, peppery, some sweet malt. Taste is strong with citrussy hints. Mouthfeel is bitter with a citrussy finish.

12 oz. bottle at Zeno’s, Penn State. Pours caramel tone with a chunky off-white head. This beer is one sided, hops dominate the malts leaving this beer lacking in body. A tad better than its rating.

12oz brown bottle from Florian’s. Amber-copper translucent body with about a half inch of off-white head. Piney and citrussy smell. Orange, pith, and pine dominate the flavor, with just enough malt to support it. Flavorful, but not overpowering. That, along with the light mouthfeel makes this a very drinkable IPA. Not my favorite for the style, but a solid, easy drinking IPA.

From a 12oz Bottle. Pours a mostly transparent ruddy caramel color with a well sustaining head of foamy white. Fruity malt aromas of strawberry and caramel form a solid backdrop to a tropical fruit hop bouquet. An insence of mango, passionfruit, and pink grapefruit creates a soft, yet bold hop character. Medium bodied, creamy carbonated mouthfeel. Body is a touch thin, with hints of oxidation. A bit of sherried raisin malt character increases my oxidized awareness. A bit of malty toffee and graham cracker interrupts these thoughts before the hoppiness of white bitter grapefruit comes through on the back end. Good flavors, but a bit thin with oxidation. Thanks, Tom!

Pours a thick caramel amber with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet, caramel, citrus, . The flavor is sweet and mildly bitter. Waxy bitter palate with citrus undertones and a warmth in the back of the mouth. A bit sweeter than usual but not overdone. The finish is bitter and warm. There’s something about it that holds it back, but its still solid overall.

12 oz bottle - pours cloudy creamed honey colour with a good sized off- white head that leaves very nice lacing. Beautiful fresh hop aroma - there’s lots o’ hops in this one......YAY!!! Piney, citrusy hop aroma, but a fair bit of malt as well. First taste had a very strong metallic character, that could very well have been from the bottle, but it faded (but still remained in the background throughout), so all was good. Mainly citrusy, bitter finish. Thick in the mouth. Good balance of hops and malt. I like it.

Bottle. Average to small white fizzy head (mostly diminishing). Decent lacing. Sparkling clear amber body. Molasses, floral hops, citrus hops, and spices are present in the aroma. Flavor is intially sweet and finishes sweet. Short finish duration. Light body. Watery texture. Soft carbonation. Touch of metalic feel to finish. Alright IPA...but a bit weak for my taste.
