Commercial Description:
Hops Infusion exhibits deep malt characteristics- this beer has undeniable character and body. Glowing a deep amber color, Hops Infusion is brewed with seven types of hops. The result is unmistakable-- hop-heavenly flavor with earthy, spicy, sharp citrus notes. Hops Infusion has four times the dry-hopping as our already hoppy IPA.

Bottle. Clear orange with a frothy off white head, spotty lacing. Floral aroma of citrus hops, some pine and even a hint of bubblegum. Great hoppy flavor with all the components-grapefruit, pine, resin, tea. Medium palate with a fair amount of carbonation. Bitter, slightly astringent hop finish. The local distributor for some reason sells this for only $5.99 a six, which is by far the best bargain around. While there are better IPAs, this one definitely holds its own.

Hoppy and malty with a great aroma. This IPA is crisp and delicious, a great choice for the summer. Comparable to the Victory Hop Devil.

12 oz bottle via trade with frumpty (thanks Ryan!). Pours a large foamy white head, leaves a LOT of lace. Fairly clear dark copper color. Very hoppy grapefruit citrus aroma with some floral undertones. Tastes like it smells. Some sweet malt upfront, followed by some orange, lemon, and grapefurit. Dry finish. Lingering aftertaste. Dry but refreshing with the hoppy tastebud dance. This is how a grapefruity IPA should taste...yumm!

Bottle: Pours a nice orange copper color with a thick billowing toast tan head. Aroma is quite floral and sweet. Flavor is strong of hops, some yeast, a tiny bit metallic. Very nice, but not anything specatacular.

12 ounce bottle from BBB63. Pours light copper with a light sandy color head. Leaves some lace as the head receeds. Really pretty hazy. The aroma is very typical of American IPAs. Floral, and spice with a sweetness to help it along. The flavor is a decent balance between cara malts, biscuit, and spicey citrus malts. Long lasting, blunt, bitterness. Medium body. Leaves a light oily film. Pretty middle of the road IPA. Don’t hate it. Don’t love it. Thanks Mike.

Thanks to Beerdrenched for sharing this one. Pours brownish / orange with a beige head. Aroma has floral / pine hops with a nice malt background. Light / medium bodied with less carbonation than expected. Taste has lots of floral hops that are sharp and somewhat metallic - doesn’t have the very pleasant hops from the aroma. Finish gets more astringent. If the taste would have matched with the aroma this would have been a much better beer for me.

Bottle. Dark rusty red colored body, with a tan, frothy head with considerably thick lacing. Juicy nose consisting of scents of mandarin oranges, sugary marachino cherries, and chewy scented red-ale-like malts. Reminds me of the hops in Hog Heaven actually. Tangy, fruity flavor, spicy yeast noted, with some chewy plums notes, some cherry wood and nut flavors as well, all the while with a creamy yeast flavor and a light fruity sweetness from the hops. I don’t really like the yeast flavor that much, and I don’t think I’ve ever liked it in any Weyerbacher beers. When warmed slightly this IPA has more of a smoky, rusty, sweet dough flavor and scent. Bittering is decent, maybe lower than it should be, more like an APA.

bottle-clear orange with a small soapy white head. nose of sweet hops-floral with notes of passionfruit, orange rinds and grapefruit. metallic hop flavors with a decent amount of munich malt to balance it out. fairly one-dimensional but has a decent malt backbone. reall, nothing outstanding with this beer-just another decent session IPA. I will try some fresh ones when im in DC soon.
