Weyerbacher Hops Infusion

Poured a darker amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of oranges and grapefruits. Tastes of grapefruits and pine. Bitter finish. Decent IPA but nothing about it makes it stand out.

Indeed hops infusion. Has too many conflcting tastes for me, but all in all isn’t that bad.

Pours amber and cloudy with a 1/2 inch offwhite fluffy head that lingers and laces decently. Aroma is citrus grapefruit and a little pine. Flavor is first a little malty but the hops slam home a nice bitter finish at the end. Pretty much a typical IPA. Still fun for us hopheads though. Good beer.

Pours a one-fingered off-white head that fades slowly leaving some lace. Cloudy amber color. Hoppy/malty nose. Light carbonation and light bodied. Starts with a hop/malt mix but the hops quickly dominate and leave a lingering bitter aftertaste. $1.50 for a 12oz bottle from Colonial Spirits, Acton, Ma.

Cloudy, bright copper - very text book. Nice thin creamy head. Sweet notes on the nose, malty, a little unexpected. Big time hop action in the palate. Packs a big finish, powerful and a hard, yet within the boundaries of the style. Minor quibble - I would have preferred a little more aromatics. A great example of what highly hopped beer is all about for the novice drinker (and this includes me).

This ale possesses enjoyable bitterness, but the flavors are muddled. It’s okay for an IPA, but I like other IPA varieties better.

Bottled. Hazy charneol colour. Deep, flowery aroma. Earthy, slight nutty hops plus caramel. Thorough bitterness. Crispy as well as fruity.

pretty typical IPA, in almost every aspect. mild hops aroma despite all the dry-hopping that is explained. dry, not very alcoholic despite 6%. good stuff and refreshing but it’s just another IPA....
