Commercial Description:
Hops Infusion exhibits deep malt characteristics- this beer has undeniable character and body. Glowing a deep amber color, Hops Infusion is brewed with seven types of hops. The result is unmistakable-- hop-heavenly flavor with earthy, spicy, sharp citrus notes. Hops Infusion has four times the dry-hopping as our already hoppy IPA.

Bottle tasted at fordest house on a surprise visit he opened this up. Decent IPA. Lots of Malt, some hops. This was unbalanced and maybe a bit old. Hops seemed to have faded. Still pretty good.

Enjoyed via small pilsner glass from a 12 oz bottle. First, I must admit that I had a cold when sampling this beer, which undoubtedly affected my sensory abilities. Also, I have a feeling this sample might have been aged a bit, as the hop nose was essentially non-existent. That being said, I found Hops Infusion to be decent but not outstanding. While I got no hop aroma on the nose, I did sense some bitterness, although it tended to be more on the harsh end of the spectrum more so than smooth in the fashion of the best examples of the style. There is a malt backbone in the middle of the palate, which then leads to a hoppy dry finish. I am anticipating trying this again when I am at the top of my powers.

12oz bottle. This is a pretty good IPA but does is not quite stand up to alot of my favorites in this style. There is a slight skunky taste and the alcohol taste seems much more pronounced than a 6% abv should be. That said, it ain’t bad just not spectacular.

Cloudy medium bronze colored body with a lightly off white head. Massive grapefruit and crystal malt smells up front. There is also some peanut. The taste has some fairly bitter grapefruit rind that is balanced with some almonds and bread crust. There is also a little bit of glazed donut, especially in the finish. A solid IPA.

Bottle. Rich amber beer with a cream colored head. Grapefruit and light caramel aroma. Grapefruit and light citrus rind flavor with malt backing. Medium body. Some bitterness. Grapefruit, rind, light caramel, and some earthiness lingers.

Pours clear orange with beige head. Aroma is very hoppy, some pineyness. Very bitter, too bitter for my taste. Some caramel malt does come through but not enough to save my taste buds. Overrated if you ask me.

From bottle, amber, tan creamy head, nice lacing, mild, felt almost watered down in flavor and a bit skunky, maybe it was just the bottle I got, sorty of citrusy but not the type I prefer, maybe too many kinds of hops, seems like overkill. faint citrus on the back end. I don’t always like Weyerbacher and this didn’t sway me. I wanted to like it more.
