The color is an unclear orange and it has a fine but disappearing head. The flavor is very dry and hoppy with no sweetness to balance it.It is too hoppy and dry for my taste even though I love IPA's - this one tastes like sucking on fresh hops. A somewhat weird beer. Fat, slightly floral hop aroma. Medium body with a solid - but never sweet - base of caramel malt and then a very solid hop bitterness that could’ve been a bit more sophisticated for my taste. But not a bad IPA. Courtesy of xproudfoot 151206 omhper (12171), Stockholm, Sweden

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 19, 2006 Bottled. Hazy orange colour, mediumsized white head. Strong hoppy nose. Real hopbomb in flavour, but still manages to be wellbalanced and smooth. Quite typical IPA, but "richer" hops. joergen (8465), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Very nice hoppy aroma, grassy, hop flowers. Good body, caramel, some sugars, enough bitterness, but still the flavor doesn’t compete with the English aroma.
