Commercial Description:
Hops Infusion exhibits deep malt characteristics- this beer has undeniable character and body. Glowing a deep amber color, Hops Infusion is brewed with seven types of hops. The result is unmistakable-- hop-heavenly flavor with earthy, spicy, sharp citrus notes. Hops Infusion has four times the dry-hopping as our already hoppy IPA.

Bottle. Pours crystalline copper with a perfectly proportional off-white head. The aroma is (gasp) hops; tons of orange and tangerine, a few floral notes. The flavor is maltier than I was expecting with some light sweetness and bread. Still a good dose of bitterness, too. The hops are mostly earthy, but some citrus notes come out in the finish. Toasty, bitter, aftertaste. Nothing remarkable, but still tasty.

Semi-hazed and dulled amber-brass in color with a punchy, spongy, khaki grey cap for the head. Aroma is infused with honeyed pine combs, nectar on grapefruit rind and caramel cubes rubbing over it all. Marigolds are overcome by a cascade and centennial sugar gloss. A hint of puce tangerine skin and sulfur sneak in later on. Bright orangey pulp lays in like mandarin Sunny D. Supple carbonation lets the orange cotton blossom carnauba wax close the distance between the roof of the mouth and all open air pockets. Tangerines and peaches get a curt brush of reality, coupled with a scented market flavor from being licked for an extra humming bitterness. Stark, sharpie dryness appeals at the tongue’s hatch. The peach and mango complex becomes creamier and lighter as the assertive traits mellow out. Tropical jolly rancher assortments gather for the finish, with a bitter mango butter flavor for the finale.

Pours a dark orange body with a nice head. The aroma is dominated by hops obviously, mostly fruity. Hints of grapes, and the alcohol is also slightly detectable. Overall it’s a slightly above average IPA with a fruity aftertaste - grapelike. Enjoyable but not enough bite to keep me interested.

Bottle from xray. Light brown body that looks gritty with an almost tan head that settles for being a yellow white and is thick and puffy, but shrinks rather quickly. Grass and caramel aroma, with the emphasis on the malt aroma and the hops playing in the background. Rusty malt flavor that is like dirty cotton candy. The bitterness is hardly noticeable. Finish is a bit of cardboard rough grain husk flavors and some light pine resin. I’ll have to check with Adam to see if this could be an old bottle. Ap-4 ar-4 tas-3 pal-2 ov-7

Way over carbonated! Very fizzy with only fair lacing. Hazy yellow-orange color. Hops aromas abound. Flowers, grapefruit, the whole nine yards. Flavor is somewhat disappointing, only moderately bitter and slightly sour. Finish is more sour and acidic. Medium bodied with an on overly fizzy mouth-feel. My bottle may have been bad, will have to give this one another try.

Pours a thick caramel amber with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet, caramel, citrus, . The flavor is sweet and mildly bitter. Waxy bitter palate with citrus undertones and a warmth in the back of the mouth. A bit sweeter than usual but not overdone. The finish is bitter and warm. There’s something about it that holds it back, but its still solid overall.

On draft with Stegosaurus and The Mad Indian at the Newtown Brewfest. Pours copper with an off-white head. Aroma of citrus and hops. The flavor is mildly bitter and citrusy. Good beer.
