Commercial Description:
Hops Infusion exhibits deep malt characteristics- this beer has undeniable character and body. Glowing a deep amber color, Hops Infusion is brewed with seven types of hops. The result is unmistakable-- hop-heavenly flavor with earthy, spicy, sharp citrus notes. Hops Infusion has four times the dry-hopping as our already hoppy IPA.

Pours dark amber with a foamy light tan head. Aroma of grapefruit, oranges, citrus. Taste is oranges, mango, and plenty of resinous hops. Mouthfeel is full bodied, slightly sticky, and resinous. Very hoppy IPA with a nice mix of varieties.

Cloudy copper, mostly opaque, with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, as is taste. Definite tangeriney grapefruity flavor ebbs and flows with stabbing hoppiness. A decent IPA, but not quite enough alcohol for me. (edit) AMAZING on draft. Pliny-like aroma and taste- sweet floral nectar quite unlike its bottled counterpart. $20/pitcher mcg’s

Like the name implies, this one is really hoppy. I like it but I tend to favor a beer that is nice and bitter. This one is really well- balanced so you should give it a try.

Bottle. Moderate aromas of roasted and caramel for the malts, heavy resin and orange for the hops, moderate broth for the yeast, with notes of date and corriander. Head is small, fizzy, white with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is slightly hazy orange/red/tan. Flavor starts lightly acidic and sweet, then finishes moderately acidic and heavily bitter. Palate is light to medium, oily and has a lively carbonation. It finishes metalic, moderately astringent and is very drying. A great array of distinct aromas and flavors. This is one unique IPA

From a 12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours dark golden with an inch of thick foam. Minor but noticable lacing on the glass. Smell is of grapefruity hops. Mouthfeel is dead on, not too light but not too syrupy either. This beer is the most grapefruity hopped beer I’ve ever tasted. Usually there’s some pine or lemon or other citrus flavors mixed in, but this beer is straight grapefruit. There is malt that backs up the grapefruit hops but it’s just there for the mouthfeel and doesn’t come in for the taste. This is a very good beer. It’s got that good IPA hoppy skunk to it. The best way to describe it is half way between an IPA and an IIPA; call it an IPA+ with an entire grapefruit crammed in each bottle. Can’t wait to try the Double Simcoe!

Pours a golden amber body with an off-white head. Smells of bitter hops and a note of caramel. Taste is caramel with a note of pineapple. Finish is very bitter and dry.
