3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 shackinetics (132) - Florida, USA - DEC 29, 2008Cloudy amber gold pour with little head. Solid hop/earth aromas and a hoppy punch of citrus, pine and caramel. Pretty darn solid brew. Worth another look.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Slayer85 (979) - Firenze, ITALY - MAR 24, 2013
Bottle. A clear medium to dark amber beer, with an average sized, frothy, lacing, mostly lasting, white head. The aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain, caramel), moderately hoppy (grapefruit, resin), with notes of tea and exotic fuits. The flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety/smooth texture, lively carbonation, dry and long finish with moderate bitterness. Pretty fresh and nice IPA, underevaluated here IMHO. Rather dark and toasted, not particularly original, but very enjoyable. Clean bitterness.

Bottle->SA. Murky dark copper with medium white head. Aroma: sweet wet heavy hops and malt. Tste: citrus and floral hops, cloying sweetness. Overwrought.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 TURDFERGUSON (3565) - Carrboro, North Carolina, USA - FEB 11, 2013
Bottle. Pours amber golden with a small, fast fading sudsy white head. Nose is earthy, lightly spicy, some citrus and a fair amount of grainy malt. Not sure on freshness of this bottle but I’d bet against it being super fresh. Flavor shows more of this with some bitterness and sweetness but very little hop FLAVOR left here. Meh.

22nd February 2012 Hazy deep amber beer, little pale tan head. Light dry palate. Caramel malt - a little raw. Bitter pine with a little citrus. Dry finish with a mild bitter linger. This might have faded or else it’s a bit muted.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20 Capa (1905) - Manama, BAHRAIN - JAN 18, 2013
From bar notes (always assumed I had entered this by now): Orange with a white head. Citrus, spicy, malts, light sweet malt backbone in the aroma. Medium, roughly carbonated body. Flavor is mostly spicy and citrus hops, and a light sweet fruity finish. Always gravitated to this at the end of a night at Druid’s Keep and it would completely wreck me. Good, hoppy IPA.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Benzai (4332) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - DEC 27, 2012
Bottle shared with Joes and Dutchdrebus. Very hazy red color with a medium to full sized off-white to lightly beige head that lasts for a decent while. Smell malts, fruits and hops. Taste malts, fruityness, hops and firm bitterness. Medium carbonation, medium to full body. Nice.

Bottle @ joes thx to benzai. Copper colour with a small and creamy off-white head. Smells sweet, fruity, some apricots, hops. Tastes hops, slightly sweet, refreshing and slightly bitter. Body is quite thin though, little to no carbo.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 imdownthepub (8470) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 26, 2012
Bottled, 355ml from Beers of Europe, Kings Lynn, Norfolk. Hazy amber with white head. Promising nose of grapefruit zest and lychee, this doesn’t quite male it fully through to the palate, but there is still a strong hoppy dryness. Not quite as sharp as the nose indicated, somewhat perfumed, but there is grapefruit pith and some kiwi. In the end still a pretty decent beer though.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 RichardGretton (4016) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - DEC 5, 2012
Bottle. Bronze beer with a strong head. The aroma is fruity with some malts and hops, and the flavour is hopped and roasted with a reasonable degree of bitterness. Overall a reasonable lightly hopped beer.

Pours a dark amber with an on off white head and sweet, hoppy aroma. Taste is of hops, a lot of caramel and toasty malt, and well balanced with a slight bitter, dry finish. Different IPA
