| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 30, 2009 Twelve ounce bottle pours a clear burnished copper body with orange highlights. Medium tan head is thick and creamy and laces well. Aroma of pie spices-cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and allspice. Taste also highlights the spices. Malty caramel and some real pumpkin flavor easily meld into the spice array. Just a hint of the alcohol. Topnotch effort. JaBier (1294), Capital City, Ohio, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 30, 2009 Bottle sample at the Weyerbacher tasting at Blacklick Wine & Spirits on 8/28/09. Pours a cloudy copper with a thin tan head. Huge spice in the nose consisting of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, allspice and sweet malt. Malty flavor with a ton of the aforementioned spices. Still, doesn’t finish too terribly sweet. An excellent representation of the style because they spice the holy hell out of it without making it too sweet. Pwn3d (1137), Manhattan, New York, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 24, 2009 This ale has a cinnamon, cloves and some nutmeg nose followed by a maltosweet pumpkin pie flavor with an autumn touch. keepersj12 (825), Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 22, 2009 The essence of fall on a hot August night. Sweet and spicy aroma. Amber with a small head. Flavor is crisp pumpkin and spice, not sweet though. Nice carbonation gives it a lively feel. Great time of year with all the fall beers coming out. italarican (185), Astoria, New York, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 18, 2009 Pours a blood orange with moderate white head. Aroma has a lot of pumpkin pie qualities: pumpkin, allspice, and ginger. Flavor is quite similar with a lot of Thanksgiving qualities. The palate is a bit thin, and there’s a slightly sour finish. Can’t wait to give it a shot closer to Thanksgiving. drowland (1445), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 18, 2009 A 12oz bottle poured almost straight into a tulip glass reveals a rich ruby beer with a big thick and frothy eggshell head. The aroma is pumpkin bread all the way with definite pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon - the usual spices - and a dash of malt and alcohol if you try for it. The flavor is notably maltier than the aroma, especially towards the middle-end, as the beginning lands on sweet and the ending lands on big spices. The exhale of breath tastes the most like pumpkin bread or pie. One of the better pumpkins I’ve had. Beerapprentice (130), Hopatcong, New Jersey, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 17, 2009 Another bottle, courtesy of adrian910ss. Best trader on ratebeer, if you ask me. Pours a dark amber colour with a white head and reddish undertones. Aroma of spices, nutmeg, cinnamon, pumpkin and a bit of alcohol. Tastes like pumpkin pie in liquid form without the sweetness.
