COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with Pumpkin and Spices(Cinnamon,Nutmeg,Cardamom,Cloves). This 8.0% ABV pumpkin ale is heartier, spicier, and more caramelly and pumpkiny than its faint brethren! Perfect finisher on a cool autumn night, or match it up with a slice of pumpkin pie and fresh whipped cream. If you don't agree this is the mother of all pumpkin ales, then you just don't like mothers!

Pours light brown/amber with a finger of tan head. Aroma is spicy mostly from the cinnamon and cloves. Flavor is also spicy but has some underlying yeast notes to it. The spices tend to evolve quickly during the first half and recede with the carbonation where more of the nutmeg comes through. Good balance of the spices in this one.

Pours a orange-copper with a thin off white head with nice lacing. Aroma is pumpkin, pie spices, sweet malts, toasted bread, brown sugar, and some faint alchool. Taste is pumpkin meat, pie spices, toasted bready malts, and some sweet malts. Has a medium body with a creamy mouthfeel and a mostly sweet, medium finish. Overall, a very nice pumpkin beer that is both complex and pretty drinkable.

UPDATED: SEP 17, 2014 Drinking out of a frothy mug i couldnt keep my nose out of it. Smell of pumpkin and spices is the best of all pumpkin beers. Isnt too sweet and has a good kick to it. Heard this was better than pumking which is my personal favorite.. It isnt but still very good.

Bottle. Dark mahogany with a 1 finger off white head. Aroma is pumpkin pie. Taste follows suit but is a little too bitter. Medium mouthfeel and carb. Not my favorite.

This is my absolute favorite higher alcohol / imperial pumpkin beer on the market. While the pumpkin pie spices are prevalent, they aren’t so huge as to cover up the great base beer that’s there. A warming amount of booze combined with those spices really scream fall. Don’t pass this one up.

This is one good pumpkin beer. I brew my own beer and have tried a couple pumpkins and would love to make a beer this good.

Light orange-brown body with a medium to thin off-white head, sparse lacing. Assertive cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove, pumpkin, biscuit, and pie crust. Medium bodied with lively carbonation, semi-sweet, not overly cloying for a pumpkin/spice beer.
