Brewed with Pumpkin and Spices(Cinnamon,Nutmeg,Cardamom,Cloves). This 8.0% ABV pumpkin ale is heartier, spicier, and more caramelly and pumpkiny than its faint brethren! Perfect finisher on a cool autumn night, or match it up with a slice of pumpkin pie and fresh whipped cream. If you don't agree this is the mother of all pumpkin ales, then you just don't like mothers!

Growler from Village Beer Merchant. Pours a medium amber color with nice light tan head. Nose is spice, fruit, and alcohol. Smells like banana bread more than pumkin pie. Light, sparkling mouthfeel for an 8%-er. Tastes like a desert baker’s take on a double hefeweizen. The yeast fruitiness and banana flavor couples well with the actual spices used. The cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove stand out above the pumpkin. It’s a bit boozy but I can still taste the pumpkin spice flavor minutes after my last sip. Used to be my favorite pumpkin ale, and it is still a delicious one, but a little too much spice for me to drink more than one or two at a time.

Drank from a pint glass poured from a twelve ounce bottle, thank you Bjorn! Has an aroma of cinnamon and artificial pumpkin. Tastes complex, not to spicy, not to pumpkiny and nice flavor for an imperial brew. A good pumpkin beer!!

Translucent, nearly opaque crimson brown hue with a negligibly sized white head. Robust autumn aroma containing notes of nutmeg, cinnamon, malt, caramel, pumpkin, cloves, and vanilla. Slightly more light bodied and dry than expected. Complex autumn aroma flavours are exactly what’s present in the taste, with a slightly bitter and hoppy finish. Nice.

Bottle to glass. Pours a mostly clear amber color with a light tan head. Aroma and flavor is a well balanced pumpkin and spice. Perfect for the holiday season. Definitely one of the better pumpkin ales.

Unlike the other pumpkin ale, here the pumpkins are really easy to feel in aroma and taste. Perfect combination of pumpkins and spices.

Tasted on 1/25/15 from a capped 12oz bottle obtained as an extra in a trade. Pours clear burnt sienna with an average white head that slowly recedes to an average collar of lace. The nose is all about the pumpkin pie baking spices, with a little bit more cardamom and cinnamon than the rest, and just a touch of caramel malt. The flavor is dry and all about the cardamom and clove herbal notes, with the same very light hint of caramel. The body is nearly full with a sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a

Pours a brownish ruby red. Caramel and spices on the nose. Sweet, malty taste with slightly creamy mouthfeel. Hoppy bitterness at the back of the tongue. Not bad.
