Bottle. The pour was a cloudy medium brown with a slight orange hue and an average sized (1-2 finger) off white creamy head that was mostly diminishing and had fair lacing.
The aroma had a strong cinnamon and nutmeg scent right off with a nice dark caramel malt, a sweet doughy yeast, a hint of allspice, a decent pumpkin presence and a mild alcohol tinge.
The taste was fabulously sweet and malty with notes of nutmeg and cinnamon at first, then progressed with a nice dose of pumpkin, a smidgen of allspice and had a smooth alcohol finish. The flavor was left hanging on the taste buds for a nice long time allowing one to fully enjoy the awesome complexity of this brew.
Mouthfeel was medium to full in body, very creamy in texture and had a nice prickly carbonation.
Overall an extremely satisfying brew that had all the flavors blending so well that any alcohol presence was almost non existent. It had a drinkability that was so appealing that it left you wanting more.

UPDATED: SEP 17, 2014 Drinking out of a frothy mug i couldnt keep my nose out of it. Smell of pumpkin and spices is the best of all pumpkin beers. Isnt too sweet and has a good kick to it. Heard this was better than pumking which is my personal favorite.. It isnt but still very good.

Bottle. Dark mahogany with a 1 finger off white head. Aroma is pumpkin pie. Taste follows suit but is a little too bitter. Medium mouthfeel and carb. Not my favorite.

This is my absolute favorite higher alcohol / imperial pumpkin beer on the market. While the pumpkin pie spices are prevalent, they aren’t so huge as to cover up the great base beer that’s there. A warming amount of booze combined with those spices really scream fall. Don’t pass this one up.

This is one good pumpkin beer. I brew my own beer and have tried a couple pumpkins and would love to make a beer this good.

Light orange-brown body with a medium to thin off-white head, sparse lacing. Assertive cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove, pumpkin, biscuit, and pie crust. Medium bodied with lively carbonation, semi-sweet, not overly cloying for a pumpkin/spice beer.

Clove, cinnamon, and allspice from the red amber ale. Spice and pumpkin flavors a good at first but a little raw in the finish. Could use some more spice and sugar for my taste.
