Commercial Description:
Amber in color, our India Pale Ale exhibits great underlying malt characteristics- smoky roasted notes with fruity accents and a slightly buttery character. Yet the flavor predominates with a lush layer of hops resulting in a wonderful aroma and taste- citrusy, floral & oh-so spicy.

Bottle. I was hoping to find some fresh bottles but that looks like it won’t happen so I will rate on the bottle I’ve had. Hazy amber body with thin head. Aroma is faint citrus and spices. Flavor is caramel, spices and a little vegatable.

Bottle->shaker: Pours a light brown head atop a dark amber body. Lots of frothy head, some carbonation Aroma is hoppy, bitter flavor, flavor is mostly hoppy, has a bitter+astringent aftertaste with not much body or aftertaste. Not a very good IPA interpretation IMO.

Bottle. Pours cloudy amber with a thin head that disappears. Fruity aroma, grapefruit, flowers, touch of sweetness. Taste is flowers and bitter. Not much malt anywhere. Bitterness lingers. Drinkable, but unremarkable.

12 oz. bottle - weyerbacher has come a long way since its initial set of brews back in the mid 90’s; just an average IPA
