Hazy dark brown/amber color with a fizzy white head. Aroma is boozy but I can note the bourbon/oak with some fruit and caramel. It has a nice sweetness. Flavor is overall smooth for the alcohol amount. I get the nice bourbon and fruit/caramel. There is not much on the back end however that is where the alcohol seems to come in. Mouthfeel is sweet carbonation is average. Overall a well done beer.

12 oz bottle for 4 bucks. Pours dark copper with an orange hue and a small white head. Huge aroma of bourbon, caramel malts, dark fruit and a little vanilla as well. Taste also pretty much highlights the bourbon flavor, overpowering everything else. Body is with a nice creamy texture to it. Overall this could be a good barleywine but the taste is too heavy on the bourbon for me. There is just simply no balance here. It has some nice characteristics but I wouldn’t try this one again.

Murky dark amber/toffee color. Small off white head. Little lacing. Grainy malt aroma. Tastes almost like a sweet fruit punch with malt mixed in. Finishes cloying and hot.

Pours a dark amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet with oak, vanilla, a hint of bourbon, and some dark fruits. Flavor is also strong of the dark fruits, oak, and bourbon. Hints of vanilla and plenty of alcohol warming on the finish.
