Intense Bourbon flavor. Very welcoming aroma. Sweet. Vanilla. This is a nice bourbon beer even if it is not exactly a barley wine in style.

Nov 26, 2009 Bottle shared with Angeloregon... Poured amberish/orange with a creamy, beige head. Aroma of boozy bourbon, vanilla and malts. A smooth, high alcohol beer. Very complex with loads of vanilla and oak notes. Dark, dry fruit characters and creme brulee like finish.

Nov 19, 2009 Hazed orange with almost no head or lace. Nice raisin and fruity aroma. Brown sugar, orange, bread, a hint of vanilla, and a nice dried fruit flavor. Full bodied with nice mild carbonation.

Oct 25, 2009 Draft. 5 oz flight. Pours pumpkin orange with a thin, off0white head. Aroma of banana, vanilla, clove, and yeast. Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Tart, crisp finish. Very good.
