COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full-flavored hop assault delightfully lacking in balance. A combination of Centennial, Cascade, Simcoe and Columbus hops are used to produce pungent aromas of grapefruit, pine and citrus.

Bottle. Pour is cloudy orange yellow with fluffy white head. Aroma is pine and sweet citrus. Taste is brought grapefruit and pine, slight resin stickiness, bitterness on the finish.

Deep golden amber pour. Thick white head. The nose is sweet with a bit of sweet caramel malt and some herbal character as well. A touch of peppery character along with a bit of juicy citrus and some fairly heavy pine notes. Has a fairly light oxidized malt component that I could do without. Slightly salty with a bit of spiciness. Okay - but the malts aren’t exactly working for me.

Six pack from Julio’s. Pours out a light lemon-honey color. Flavor is light and citrusy. Light bread and spice. Lingering bitterness. This one is for the puppies - just had to try!

Awesome aroma, pine, citrus, flowers. Complex and lasting. Dark orange with thin head, enters well in mouth, with a mix of hops, good bitterness. But then it leaves a weird leather, super bready, dry palate that basically ruins the whole experience. A decent beer thought.

12oz bottle. Pours a golden copper color with a one finger frothy white head that sticks around. Aroma of resinous pine and pithy hops with a lightly toasted malt. Taste has a light caramel malt body with lots of hop flavors. There is a solid presence of citrus hops including grapefruit, orange, and apricot. Additionally there are lighter notes of tropical hop flavors like pineapple and mango. Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation.

Light amber pour, off white head. Loads of malt up front, taking away from the hops. Very weird beer that I really didn’t enjoy a whole lot. It was like a bready flavored drink with hops. Meh.

Bottle. Nice, centric pour ... amber, slightly hazy, but not too much. Thin head. Definite hoppy nose, bordering on the earthy and smoky edge. Drinks with a nice rugged character, that little bit of smoke playing around the edges of an otherwise citric drink, easy on the palate and quite drinkable. (#5263, 9/22/2013)

12oz bottle. Slightly cardboardy aroma. Taste is intense bitterness, followed by roasted caramel malts. The malts are so strong that you kind of forget about anything else. Very much an East Coast IPA, and kind of a meh example of the style.

Bottle. Medium ambef cloudy color. Ok initial aroma. Solid initial hop flavor on palate. Good malt/hop balance.

12 fl oz bottle from a friend of a friend, served cold in a tulip glass.

App.: Clear amber with a decent tan head. Aroma: Lightly mashy/brothy, earthy notes, smells a bit British, peppery and resinous, decent sweet, biscuity malts, a little caramel, oddly floral or soapy, a bit fruity as it warms. Palate: Medium body, very relaxed effervescence. Flav.: Lightly peppery, a little soapy and floral, a bit of resin, a hint of butterscotch, dark bread crust, so-so; dry with moderate bitterness and a lightly buttery, peppery finish.

Not working for me.
