2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
This is a beer for a very good cause!
Weyerbacher Brewing Company donates a portion of the proceeds from the sale of every drop of Last Chance IPA to small, regional animal rescue operations. These shelters offer dogs, cats and other pets their last chance to find a new home.
Sampled... a 12 oz. bottle.
Cloudy, orange- copper appearance.
Taste is of earthy hops, biscuity malts, floral and (lemon peel) hops with very light pine ...old, mature hops.
A little better than a mid level IPA.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a soft and clean straw amber with one finger of off white head. Nose is a little funky/heady and off/vegetal. Slightly herbal.
Flavor is grassy with a light corn character and zesty/citrus rind character. Light bodied and medium bitterness and carbonation. Just feels like itís missing something.

12oz bottle in a tulip. Pours amber/golden with an off-white head. Aroma of citrusy and piney hops plus a little pale and caramel malts. Flavor about the same with very little malts. Average texture. A decent IPA but could be much better.

Draught. Pours a hazy amber color with a moderate white head. Nose is a little hoppy, but overpowering. Taste was somewhat bitter, but in a pleasant way. I found it a very smooth and easy drink.
