COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full-flavored hop assault delightfully lacking in balance. A combination of Centennial, Cascade, Simcoe and Columbus hops are used to produce pungent aromas of grapefruit, pine and citrus.

No bottling date.

A: Clear amber body with a stream of fine carbonation bubbles while a thin white head sits on top.

S: This smells like it’s a lot higher in alcohol than it is, lots of hop aromas as well, very fresh smelling. Grapefruit takes the main aroma with some sweeter citrus backing.

T: Well this is a very weird beer, it tastes very unrefined. At times this is very watery, and at times the hops hit hard. Slight sweet citrus hops on the intro, the mid-taste hits hard of grapefruit, and the finish just drops all flavor quickly.

M: Light bodied with light carbonation.

O: This is a massive disappointment really, there’s nothing really redeeming about this at all. Weyerbacher is very hit or miss and this is a miss.

Pours attractive reddish brown with thin white head. Smell is simcoe hops, pine, and spice. Taste is the same, with some light fruity notes

Draft. Pours orange with a white head. Light floral and citric hops, with pale malts and a medium bitter finish. Not bad.

Thin off white head thats short lived. Skinny, stringy lace. Lightly hazy, copper/orange hued brew.Nose is dry and earthy, light citrus notes. Bigger/medium bodied with a lightly prickly carbonation, lil oily and resiny, acidic. Dry malts are a hint toasty with nice citrusy hop notes and the simcoe standing out. Lil leafy and inky. Dry finish has a good bitterness. Better than expected. Bottle from statelineliquors.

12 oz bottle: Pours bronze orange with a small white head and big CO2 column; decent lacing. Aroma is floral and citrus hops, with a nice bready malt. Taste is slightly bitter on the front and dry and bitter on the finish, slightly salty. Rough on the palate due to bitterness, not the easiest to drink and strong dry finish. Decent but nothing special overall.

Bottle picked up at SL.... Pours a dark orange in color. Decent little head that faded quickly. Lots of pine and grapefruit on the nose. Taste is bitter pine needles with a touch of grapefruit. Really does lack balance. Medium body easy to drink. Overall: Mehhhh, far from bad but I can think of many other IPAs that I would drink before this one.

12 ounce bottle. Slightly hazy amber orange color topped by a small bubbly white head. Sweet caramel malt aroma mixed with citrusy, piney hops. Even a hint of Gouda cheese in the nose. Bittersweet hops dominate the palate. No malt backbone at all. Very much out of balance. Very little body or depth. Brief dry finish. Disappointing.

UPDATED: JUL 29, 2012
Location: Draft at the Dutch in SoHo, 7/23/12

Aroma: This one has a nose of resin/pine hops, and some light citrus
Appearance: It pours a clear gold-orange, with a white head and mid-heavy lace
Flavor: The taste of this beer is medium-plus bitter with some minimal sweetness
Palate: The body is medium, with a decently smooth feel, and a fairly heavy dry finish
Overall Impression: This was a pretty decent IPA for sure. It was not a standout, but a solid one with a nice, heavy hoppy feel.

I really enjoyed this IPA. Great aroma of hops and a tiny bit of citrus. Cloudy yellow pour with a decent head. Taste was all hops but it wasn’t bitter. Just a nice clean hop taste left on the palate.

Tap at Stagshead. Pours hazy orange with thin head. Nose of pine and resin. Tastes of light orange citrus, pine forest, malt, earth, and light woody. Medium bodied and light sticky.
