A full-flavored hop assault delightfully lacking in balance. A combination of Centennial, Cascade, Simcoe and Columbus hops are used to produce pungent aromas of grapefruit, pine and citrus.

12 ounce bottle - $1.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.

Appearance: Pours a hazed, dingy amber-hued body with a small, altogether brief, whitish head.

Smell: Pine and paper, soapy resins, citric citrus, grasses and muddy, muddled yeast cakes. Oh, some weak toast and pale malts.

Taste: Pale malts, a snap of grains, and a moist mealy quality. Low, short-lived sweetness. Citric orange, resins, tropical fruits, and grassy hops backed with an earthy yeastiness. Moderate bitterness. Hint of shredded mint leaf. Bitter, drying finish.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.

Overall: Uninteresting, a bit disappointing. Just keep telling yourself "itís for charity, itís for downtrodden animals." Think of the animals!

Blah. Very underwhelming. Aroma is a bit of sourish malt. A bit of metal on the front. No real characteristics here.

Great taste, i like this extreme biterness and herbs flavour. Nice golden colour and low head. Bitter as hell.

Draft. You know summerís over when you see an IPA called last chance. Cloudy golden color, fluffy white head. Aroma of bitter and floral fruit. Taste is bitter lemongrass and straw. Decent.

Earthy, dry and bitter. Classic east coast IPA. Bleh... Not terribly exciting.

Pours hazy gold into a Sam glass. White head quickly disappears leaving spot lacing. Citrus and resin aromas. Medium bodied with metallic caramel and nuts front to back. Lasting sourdough resin finish. Wow - it really doesnít taste as good as it smells....

Deep golden amber pour. Thick white head. The nose is sweet with a bit of sweet caramel malt and some herbal character as well. A touch of peppery character along with a bit of juicy citrus and some fairly heavy pine notes. Has a fairly light oxidized malt component that I could do without. Slightly salty with a bit of spiciness. Okay - but the malts arenít exactly working for me.

Six pack from Julioís. Pours out a light lemon-honey color. Flavor is light and citrusy. Light bread and spice. Lingering bitterness. This one is for the puppies - just had to try!

Awesome aroma, pine, citrus, flowers. Complex and lasting. Dark orange with thin head, enters well in mouth, with a mix of hops, good bitterness. But then it leaves a weird leather, super bready, dry palate that basically ruins the whole experience. A decent beer thought.
