3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz bottle courtesy of markwise pours with a slightly hazy copper body that supports a short lived near white head. The aroma offers up diluted orange juice and sweet muted orange hard candy as well as a cotton candy sensation. The taste is similar with thin diluted citrus notes that begins with a dash of malt sweetness and move into bitter grapefruit and under ripe orange to midway. Into the finish it dries some due to the hops getting into a bit of a resiny realm. Pretty nice IPA.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 ounce bottle
A solid IPA is no Double Simcoe but works reasonably well as a regional session beer. Not once to sit on at all, it already felt as if the polish was coming off despite it being tasted as soon as possible. I doubt I would buy it again with so many other options in the area. Even so it defines a typical middle of the road IPA.
Aroma / Appearance - A cloudy coppery base shimmers with a foamy layer of eggshell decoration. Caramel, twigs, and earthy hops lend this an arboreal nature of Twix rolled in pine sap.
Flavor / Palate - The full bodied mouthfeel immediately fills the palate with a wave of caramel dipped oranges, oak, and strong citrus bursts. The dry transition carries to a warm hoppy finish typical of a well crafted IPA. Effective at getting the job done, the beer ultimately falls in the middle of the road with a blend of pine sap and apple. This is above the median for Weyerbacher.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Rally. Aroma smells normally hoppy. Appearance is plain and boring. Palate is nice, bubbly and smooth. Tastes like any IPA that is trying to be overly hoppy and dry. Not bad...but nothing amazing.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a medium-orange with a one finger white head. Aroma is of citrus, tropical fruits, pine, ans some light bready malts. Taste is similar to the aroma. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a semi bitter, medium-long finish. Overall, a above average, easy drinking IPA that is borderline sessionable.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a thick, slightly off-white head that settles to a film leaving some nice lacing. Aroma is hop-heavy - mostly pine with some citrus and fruit notes along with a little caramel. Medium body along with a nice balance of malt and hops. Dry finish, seems a little thin on the swallow, the hops linger as well. Not bad.

Cask at BArcade. Big leafy dry-hopped nose, pine and orange. Smooth, full, a bit bread. Very bitter finish. Good stuff, though maybe a bit too bitter.

Transfer from BA review on 11-13-12-
Poured from bottle into pint glass
Appearance – The beer poured a hazy copper-orange color with a two finger off white head. The head fades slowly over time only leaving a light level of lacing on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is heavies of a citrus hop mixed with some fruit aromas - a mix of tangerine, apple and pear. With these aromas are some other lighter hop aromas of a pine and earthy nature as well. Overall it’s a rather nice nose.
Taste – The taste begins with a lighter fruit sweetness and a lighter citrus hop on top of a bready base. Quickly after the initial tastes some pine hop flavors come to the tongue. While it starts out more subtle, the pine quickly grows stronger, all the while the sweeter fruit flavors begin to dwindle. At the end of the taste the pine, now quite strong, is accompanied by an upsurge in a bitter grapefruit citrus and some earthy hop to in the end leave a nice fairly bitter hop flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the average to just above average side in terms of creaminess with a carbonation level that is rather average as well. Not bad for the flavors, but nothing too exceptional.
Overall – A nice drinkable, bitter piney hoped IPA. A little more sweetness to balance out the pine may have been nice, but its not bad overall. Both for the taste as well as for the animals that it benefits I would recommend giving it a go.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a cloudy, hazy gold color with decent lacing. Smells hoppy and slightly of rose water. Unfortunately, the taste did not quite match that of the aroma. A decent ipa, but that is all it is.
