COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full-flavored hop assault delightfully lacking in balance. A combination of Centennial, Cascade, Simcoe and Columbus hops are used to produce pungent aromas of grapefruit, pine and citrus.

12oz bottle pours a clear copper/orange with a thin off-white head. Aroma smells like someone rolled hops in their arm pit and an ash tray. Tastes like bitter cardboard and graham crackers. Meh.

Has some bite to it like any good IPA. You have to like hoppy beers to enjoy this one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle [12oz]. Pours a slightly hazy dark gold with an average size diminishing frothy off-white head. Aroma of bready malt, light vegetal notes, grassy hops and earthy notes. Flavour of malt, vegetal notes, light grassy hops, some fruit and a dry, average bitter finish -- slightly watery and mediocre. Average bodied. Disappointing, I didn’t much care for this.

12oz bottle courtesy of markwise pours with a slightly hazy copper body that supports a short lived near white head. The aroma offers up diluted orange juice and sweet muted orange hard candy as well as a cotton candy sensation. The taste is similar with thin diluted citrus notes that begins with a dash of malt sweetness and move into bitter grapefruit and under ripe orange to midway. Into the finish it dries some due to the hops getting into a bit of a resiny realm. Pretty nice IPA.

Taste: Grapefruit, dried apricot, caramel and toffee. Lightly spiced, dry finish. Quite yeasty too.

Palate: Medium body with an oily texture. Fizzy carbonation.

Overall: A complex, malty IPA with nice grapefruit and apricot hints.

EithCubes (4197) - New Jersey, USA - MAY 1, 2013
Bottle. Nose of orange and paper, pungent, a little catty, clearly Simcoe, Cascade with only medium grapefruit. Gradient orange-golden with a rocky, dense beige head. Taste is bone dry and smashing with (lightly rubbery) strong bitterness. Not aggressive, keeps the astringency to a minimum and the carbonation manageable in the middle latitudes. Lightish/watery body, calls back fruit juice, lightly tropical but without leaving the claustrophobia behind. I like it.

glennmastrange (1884) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - APR 30, 2013
Bottle. Light to moderate roasted grain for the malt, herbs and pine for the hops, light soap for the yeast with paper and sour milk in the background. head is small, frothy, white with a spot or two of lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is slightly hazy medium amber. Flavor starts lightly to moderately acidic, then the long finish is lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery with a lively carbonation. A little off in aroma, a little flat in flavor, but it’s drinkable and fairly enjoyable.
