A full-flavored hop assault delightfully lacking in balance. A combination of Centennial, Cascade, Simcoe and Columbus hops are used to produce pungent aromas of grapefruit, pine and citrus.

Poured light orange from the bottle with almost no head. Aroma of mostly earthy pine. Flavor is dominated by a piney hopiness with some bitter sweet resin. Nice dry finish with a pleasant lingering bitterness

Good IPA. Cloudy, amber; with medium-sized head. Aroma of a grapefruit with some caramel and pine. Almost the same in taste. Decent hoppy bitterness in aftertaste. Very drinkable .

"...helps animal rescue organizations." On label. I object! I support hundreds of "human rescue" organizations...which allow me to drink fine beer with a feeling of accomplishment. This is a very average IPA which wants to siphon my money to THEIR, not mine, cause!

Pours from 12 oz bottle a nice copper color with a small white head. Aroma of crystal and caramel malt, hops, citrus, pine, and spruce. Flavour of earthy hops, biscuity malts, floral and bitter rindy citrusy (lemon peel) hops with very light pine. No wow factor here.

On tap. Hazy light orange color. Resin like flowery aroma. Taste was very bitter with lots of resin and hints of floral. It’s ok.

Pours a medium-orange with a one finger white head. Aroma is of citrus, tropical fruits, pine, ans some light bready malts. Taste is similar to the aroma. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a semi bitter, medium-long finish. Overall, a above average, easy drinking IPA that is borderline sessionable.

Aroma: flowers, tropical fruits. Appearance: hazy pale gold. Taste: light sweet. Palate: turning light bitter, flowers, light dry in the average finish. Overall: great IPA, nice and soft. Pint at The Ginger Man, Manhattan.

Bottle from Rally. Aroma smells normally hoppy. Appearance is plain and boring. Palate is nice, bubbly and smooth. Tastes like any IPA that is trying to be overly hoppy and dry. Not bad...but nothing amazing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A solid IPA is no Double Simcoe but works reasonably well as a regional session beer. Not once to sit on at all, it already felt as if the polish was coming off despite it being tasted as soon as possible. I doubt I would buy it again with so many other options in the area. Even so it defines a typical middle of the road IPA.

Aroma / Appearance - A cloudy coppery base shimmers with a foamy layer of eggshell decoration. Caramel, twigs, and earthy hops lend this an arboreal nature of Twix rolled in pine sap.

Flavor / Palate - The full bodied mouthfeel immediately fills the palate with a wave of caramel dipped oranges, oak, and strong citrus bursts. The dry transition carries to a warm hoppy finish typical of a well crafted IPA. Effective at getting the job done, the beer ultimately falls in the middle of the road with a blend of pine sap and apple. This is above the median for Weyerbacher.

From old notes: Draft pour in New York wherever I’m at. Cloudy orange with tiny circle of white head. Fruity orange tangerine aroma. Fruity orange taste too. Mild bitter and hoppiness. Drinkable as shit - fruit juice
