Description: "A dark amber IPA with bready notes, slightly sweet, spicy and a herbal finish." On tap at Capone’s. Served in a mini snifter. Pours copper with a short white head that persists for a bit before falling and not leaving any real head behind. The nose is quite floral with some malt. Really kind of earthy as well, with an almost coffee-like presence. Kind of odd, but kind of nice. The flavor has some malt and a bit of light sweetness but not too much hop flavor. Decent bitterness. Some earthiness. Just okay. Serving type: on-tap Reviewed on: 04-25-2011

Amber color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of grass, caramel, spices, light floral hops. Taste of caramel malts, woody hops, grass, herbal tea and a dry finish.

On draft at Capones. Pours a light coppery amber with a small white head. Aroma of light buttery notes, nuts, hints of bread and hops. Taste is much the same as the aroma.

On tap at Capone’s. Pours a clear amber color with a white head. Aroma of citrus, earth, and pine. Flavor shocks you though. Very little hop bitterness and a dominant presence of smoke. Thought I had the wrong beer. Some earthiness, citrus and caramel, but lots of smoke. Nice beer!
