Fairly light in body with a vague, fruity sweetness, a little yeast and diacetyl and then a somewhat astringent quinine-like fruitiness without being overly bitter. A strange brew - as many American Saisons are. 301107

Jul 13, 2008 Opaque orange with a thick, rocky head. Very dusty, rustic nose, lightly fecal, peppery, saaz/styrian and lots of pale malt. Spicy, herbal, peppery body with a bit of a stiff alcohol signature. Slightly floral. Full body. Complex, meaty, yet refreshing. Old-timey.

Dec 14, 2007 From bottle, no 13 at Papsoes blindtasting. Pours hazy orange with lacing white head. Spiced aroma, complex. Flavour holds a herbal and vegetable flavour with a subdued sweetness. Has a strange soapy and herbal finish. Strange and undefineable.
