Commercial Description:
Formerly Weyerbacher Imperial Stout.
Rich, velvety and deliciously complex, Weyerbacher Imperial Stout is a truly distinctive winter warmer. We use seven types of malt and two varieties of hops to bring forth this big brew. Quite robust and roasty on the palate, Weyerbacher Imperial Stout has a wonderfully fruity nose and a moderately dry finish. The taste is highly complex- perhaps you'll even discern notes of expresso or chocolate.

Pours a beautiful creamy brown head on a jet black body. Smells sweet and chocolaty. Very malty and creamy in flavor. What in Imperial Stout should be.

A very dark stout with a nice dark head. A sweet, yet bitter aroma. Almost a liqour quality to the flavor, heavy malts. Smooth ending.

Smells of dark roast and fuggles hops, not a strong aroma. Black in color with a nice brown lacing head. Flavor is somewhat subdued for an imperial stout, but nice. Roasted, hoppy sweet from the fuggles, and a nice coffee bitterness. Very enjoyable.

12 oz bottle Pours a murky black with a tan head. Smells of chocolate nuts. Robust bitter flavor with a touch of sweetness. Hints of ginger ale and raspberries. Was not as full bobied as it would appear to be.
