Commercial Description:
Formerly Weyerbacher Imperial Stout.
Rich, velvety and deliciously complex, Weyerbacher Imperial Stout is a truly distinctive winter warmer. We use seven types of malt and two varieties of hops to bring forth this big brew. Quite robust and roasty on the palate, Weyerbacher Imperial Stout has a wonderfully fruity nose and a moderately dry finish. The taste is highly complex- perhaps you'll even discern notes of expresso or chocolate.

Deep black, thick, and small head. Looks rich, creamy, and oil-like, without being oily (if that makes sense). Flavor is rich, thick dark chocolate- not too sweet- in fact finishes slightly bitter.

Bottle via trade with dchmela. Pours a deep soda brown. Rich chocolate on the nose. Flavors of chocolate, candy sugar, molasses and hickory. Flavors a little hallow at times. Velvety smooth mouth. Enjoyable IRS.

Deep, rich, dark, and malty. There are some subtle coffee flavours, and a nice hop presence. Its nice and heavy without being so extreme that you don’t want to drink it. It is very smooth and tasty. There isn’t much head as the beer warms, just a deep rich black earthy color and aroma.

Bottle Version: Jet black with ample lasting light brown head. Excellent lacing. Roasty nose. Slick oily mouthfeel. Chock full roasty dark chocolate flavor. Bitter, but not overly so. High alchohol is well hidden. Excellent balance and flavorful.
