3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Raspberries and dark cherries on the nose along with some slight chocolate
Not as dark as most imperisl stouts, with a negligible tan head fading into a tiny ring leaving no lacing.
Solid taste, chocolate and fruit trade places with some nice coffee notes added. A little bit of roast while on the sweet side.
Full bodied with some creaminess and a subtle dryness. Carbonation more present than the pour made it seem.
Overall, a nice sipper for a cold day that I would not mind drinking again.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aroma is a sweetish chocolate malt. Some coffee notes. Taste is full rich malt. Some burnt toast. Some coffee. A mild bitter fades in and lingers through a fairly quick finish. A well balanced, quite enjoyable stout. Good beer!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Strong roasted malt presence. Subtle cola & caramel also there. Slight bitterness in the finish. Smooth feel in the mouth. A bit thin and slick. Not as complex as the top tier imperial stouts but a solid brew none the less.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Buonissima Imperial Stout. Aspetto come solito.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
bottle @ Jungle Jim’s / Eastgate OH --- Opaque brown/black color, heavy rocky brown head, thick curtain of lace. Almost too viscous. Taste is toasted malt with hints of chocolate and coffee that moves with incredible smoothness through the palate to a mildly bittered finish, which is quite enough to balance. A brew with big flavor that has the ability to deliver the goods without becoming overpowering. Highly recommended.

Nothing special about this one. Malt, vanilla, light body, moderate carbonation. Would not buy again

3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Very dark opaque pour with a small brown head. A bit thick in body and lightly carbonated. Flavor is coffee, caramel and a bit of prune. A nice hop bite finishes this one nicely. Oh so dark and oh so good.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Typical black stout pour with half a finger of khaki head. Dark fruit and carmel on the nose. Prunes, raisins on the front of the tongue followed by slight carmel and finishing with a dry expresso.

Dark and delicious. Good aroma. Oaky with a good aftertaste. 8% but doesn't taste like a higher percentage beer.
