Black pour with brown head, aroma has mostly chocolate going for it, flavor is the same also has sort of a cappuccino thing going on. This is a very smooth Imperial Stout although the alcohol is sort of low for this style which is unfortunate because i think if this had a 10 or 11% ABV and was thicker it would be much more appetizing but it just seems to be too thin for this style, i guess that could also be a good thing though. Overall I enjoy it though.

Aug 13, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a dark brown/black color with a small dark tan head. Aromas of raisins, dark chocolate and coffee. Medium-bodied with a bitter finish. A nicely balanced Imperial Stout.

Aug 10, 2008 12 oz bottle. Dark brown with a bubbly tan head. Nose is grape, cocoa and musty coffee. Creamy body with a tang. Taste is Baker’s chocolate, prune, burnt sugar and bitter grass. A pretty good stout with an odd, vegetal sourness in the finish that throws me.

Aug 9, 2008 12oz bottle thanks to MrChopin. Pours black with a brown head. Nose is of chocolate, fruity and roasty malt. Taste is of chocolate and coffee; some ash. Mouthfeel is medium-to-thin and smooth. Thinner than I would like from an Imperial Stout. Not bad though.

Aug 8, 2008 Thanks to Juancho. Drank it in Panajachel, Guatemala. Classic Dry Stout. Pours a very dark brown, with a nice tan head. Light bodied, dry, ashy and smoky. Not my favorite type of Stout, but excellent nonetheless.

Aug 7, 2008 This is a very dark pour with a quickly disipitating brown head. . The beer has a medium mouthfeel. Flavor is a dark chocolate and brown sugar. Not as overwhelming as some imperial stouts.
