(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of xproudfoot - thank you Chris. Slightly hazy amber golden with an off-white head. The aroma is pure bourbon. Full body with sweetish malts and then all these wonderful bourbon notes. What a weird idea to bourbon barrel a Tripel, but the end result is simply fantastic. Yum. 291206

1st August 2008. Yellowish brown beer. Dry ale, woody with a little carbonation and a slight fruity finish - banana and peach. Overall a good beer but a little dissapointing for Weyerbacher - a bit too dry.

Taste is moderately sweet, apple, lemon, some oak, finishing with oak and mild bourbon. Medium-full body, low carbonation, surprisingly drinkable. Taste bordered on a cider. As for what happened to that tripel that was there
