pours orange, quickly disappearing white head. aroma is fruity and very boozy. Taste, yeasty,fruits, lots of sugar, some malts - possible peach/apricot- , warming alcohol. Some sugar that turn into a sticky lip bomb. Mot bad, but wished it wasn’t that high in abv.

Courtesy of JHop. Pours a hazy dark copper. A fair head forms on pour but quickly dissipates to a thin layer of bubbles that fails to leave much lacing. Aroma is big sugary malty sweetness with smooth, soothing alcohol and herbal, grassy hops. When you take a sip those hops come right to the front and give this beer a surprisingly bitter edge that one might not expect after taking in the aroma. But in no time that big sugary malt comes up and washes away much of the hop bitterness and coats the remaining bitterness with candy and alcohol. Big thick chewy mouthfeel as the beer goes down; a hoppy sweet aftertaste lingers for a while. A little more hoppy than I’m used to for this style, but I dig.

12 oz bottle from Monaghans. Pours a reddish/orange with an average size off white slightly frothy head. Aroma of fruit, yeast, alcohol, slight sugar and grain. Full mouthfeel with only slight alcohol warming considering the almost 12% ABV, and light carbonation and an almost creamy warm finish. Flavors of alcohol, honey, fruit, yeast and grains. This is actually pretty darn good and will probably get a lot beeter with some age.

12 oz bottle from Cletus. Pour is murky brown orange with only a small film of off white head. Decent lacing. Aroma of sharp honey sweetness, floral sweetness, resin maltiness and a decent blast of alcohol. Pretty overpowering nose. Taste is more refined, though it still has the cloying sweet honey, malt and alcohol. It also introduces a red wine raisin element which is nice. Palate is slick, medium heavy, with a lasting hot finish. The cloying honey sweetness adds a citric sharpness in the aftertaste. Overall, decent enough beer. Thanks John.

Translucent in color. Thin head. Kind of a peach/gold/brown color. This beer wasn’t as dark brown as I thought it would be. Malty aroma, but not as pungent as I was thinking it would be. Very fruity/malt aroma. More fruit in the aroma than malts. I noticed a few people have mentioned the taste of apples. I completely agree. Very malty taste at first then this beer settles into a fruity flavored abt/quadrupel. Alcohol is well hidden, but I am feeling it after this one. Overall, abt/quadrupel is lot more mild in flavor and aroma than other beers of this style. Nice subtle beer with some great fruit and malt flavors. Smooth palate, and there is not too much carbonation.

High alcohol presence....flavors of green apple and banana. Some bitterness, Has a very clean finish. Not thin or thick, just in between. Enjoyable.

Reddish pour with no head. Aroma of fruits, blackberry and maybe cherry. Tastes a bit of blackberry wine with sweetness and you really never would know its almost 12% ABV. Excellent.

Bottle: Poured a reddish orange amber with no head, but lots of carbonation bubbles. Aroma is fruits and faint malts. Taste is winey dark fruit, sweet malts, and mouth warming. Alcohol is hidden well.
