COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Massively big and delicious, QUAD is an elegant and dark ale. Rich with complexity and flavor, try savoring it after a long day or during a fine dinner. You also might enjoy it as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to a dessert, but QUAD stands alone quite well. We recommend enjoying QUAD in a brandy snifter or wineglass so you can drink in the aroma of this fine elixir.

Wonderful layers of flavor: candied pannetonne-like fruit, cherry, spice and a sophisticated balance between the alcohol, bitter hop element and malt sweetness. I can’t wait to have some more.

12 oz. bottle poured into a snifter. Pours a clear amber, copper color with an average light tan head that disappears quickly. Nice lacing. Rich malty aroma with dark fruits, bananas, cloves, and bubblegum. Even a little alcohol. Flavor is caramel-like sweetness with the taste of raisins and cloves accompanied by lots of bananas and bubblegum. Slightly warming. Full bodied. Smooth carbonation. Finish is short and dry.

Pours a slightly opaque amber with more orange than red. Nice offwhite head with a good retention rate and moderate lacing. Big banana and clove aromas, very sweet aroma. Big strong and sweet banana and clove flavors. Big alcohol esters. Solid quad notes. Big alcohol burn on the mouthfeel. A little harsh at first, but it mellows somewhat. Maybe some aging would make this a little more drinkable.

Pours super cloudy and deep amber in color with a slight orange. Aroma is very malty with an aluminum scent present throughout. Hints of black licorice and multiple dark fruits are also there. Flavor is quite boozy with malts, brown sugar, plum, raisin, and hay all present. Makes me want to go up to NH and see the white mountains when the leaves change. Great stuff!

A generic reddish brown with medium head. Not a lot in the aroma but maybe was too cold. Kind of like a brandy or bourbon. Full body with noticable alcohol, a lot of caramel and maltiness with almost some wood or something in the flavor. A long finish. Pretty decent although not the best of the style and hard to drink more than one.

Bottle/12oz - Poured a reddish amber in color with a medium light tan head that stuck around to produce some really nice lacing on the glass. I am glad that this beer is not too cold, as that would mask some of the more subtle dried fruit (raisins and prunes with hints of grapes or apples)aromas that this beer exudes. Malty, almost a brown sugar smell is pretty strong. Flavor is fairly sweet with the malts and brown sugar being the dominant portion. Some of the fruitiness does come through. A bit of alcohol that would probably be mostly masked by a cooler temperature. A truly powerful beer... definitely a "sipper". I like it...

Bottle. From Tournament thanks Brandon. Pour is a deep copper red color with a very fast head that dissipears within seconds. Aroma is rasins and dark dried prunes and malt. Taste is more the same with bitter prunes and hot malt, but has a decent balance. Palate is slick and chaulky with noticable booze swallow. This is a solid brew with a little more booze than I like.

Bottle. Pours a reddish brown clear color. No sediment or yeast floating around. Tan head. Aroma of sweet raisins and dark fruit. The taste is sweet with an alcohol bite along with a slight bitter end. No lacing at all. Very sweet but not bad overall. Medium mouthfeel. Not a style I routinely drink but not a bad sipper.
