COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Massively big and delicious, QUAD is an elegant and dark ale. Rich with complexity and flavor, try savoring it after a long day or during a fine dinner. You also might enjoy it as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to a dessert, but QUAD stands alone quite well. We recommend enjoying QUAD in a brandy snifter or wineglass so you can drink in the aroma of this fine elixir.

On tap at Uno’s Hamilton. Maybe it was a bad batch, but this beer was disgusting. It literally reminded me of vomit at certain points.

Bottle at home thanks to Mac! Pours a dark amber, with a flash of head. Aroma is raisins, fruit, caramel, a bit of dates. Taste is caramel, dried fruits, raisins, faint honey and a bit of alcohol burn. Medium body, medium carbonation. Very good!

Deliciously smooth! Pours a pretty copper w/ a white head & good lacing. The aroma is robust w/ dark fruity Belgian notes. The flavor is of dark fruit w/ just a bit of bitterness in the very end. It’s medium bodied & a delight on the palate despite its potent 12%. Well done!

Bottle from the brewery thanks to my brother. Caramel with a beige head. Strong vanilla, cinnamon, caramel, toffee and dried cherries.

It pours dark brown with a healthy head and lacing on the side. It has a sour aroma to it with fruit elements, not citrus, and sugar. It has a sweet taste of brown sugar combined with non citrus fruit flavors. It in not bitter on the way down, but is has a definitive warming element to it.

12oz bottle from The Beer Store Wilson. Dark brown/reddish hue with mostly lasting fizzy off-white head. Good lacing. Strong fruit (prunes, grapes, other dark fruits and some light fruits) and spice aromas. Sweet bitter sour fruit up front with more of a spice finish. Smelled much better than it tasted. Lively carbonation on the palate.

Een van de beste Quadrupels dat ik ooit al gedronken heb. Een zachte, zelfs een licht zoete smaak, maar toch heel vol van smaak. Heel hard te vergelijken met de Quadrupel van La Trappe. Een echte aanrader!

On tap at the airport in ABE. Wow, this is big. Very big. Huge banana taste. Lots of sweet candied sugar flavors with hints of yeast and bread. Seems like more of an american version of the style over the better Belgian versions. It’s good, just hard to finish.

Poured from bottle into tulip glass on 2/22/14. Date on bottle read 11/06/2013. Poured light amber color with some head and lacing. Aroma was fruity, sweet and malty. Moderate carbonation. Taste consisted of dried fruits such as prunes, figs and raisins with yeast and a touch of tart. Went down easy for a nearly 12%. Very enjoyable beer on a Sunday afternoon. At a year and almost 4 months since bottling, this beer seems to cellar well.

2009 on tap at Romans. Aged well. Pours a lighter amber color and a wisp of head. No carbonation left. Taste is carmel sweet and smooth beyond belief. Excellent! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
