Nice sour sour. Dark reddish pour. Raspberries in the nose. The taste is way tart with raspberries, brett, oak, lemon, and slightly acidic flavors. Lively carbonation. Great stuff.

I have seen this on the shelf before and don’t think the price deflected me, so not sure why I am just now trying. There is so much berries in here it is up in the Blushing Monk realm. Oak and just a hint of sour funk show. This was quite nice a surpriser.

Bottle pours a slightly hazy red with a large white head that recedes almost instantly. Aroma of tart raspberries, light vinegar and acid. Tart pie cherry bites you in the back of the jaw. Light effervesance. Good stuff.

Very lively with a pinkish hue from the raspberries. Sour, brett, raspberries, and champagne like presence. Good balance as the sour does not overpower. The raspberries shine through in the finish. Good stuff.

Had thanks to Weasel. Pours a nice red color with a light beige head. Aroma is a sweet raspberry and also has a nice a very nice tart finish on the taste. I am not feeling the Brett as much as in other Brett based beers.

750 ml bottle shared by a local STL guy at Perennial - thanks again, Caleb! New vintage, new label. Pours a hazy orange color with a rose tint and no head. Aroma of raspberry, grape, apple, sugar, sweet malt, and champagne. The flavor has tons of raspberries and not much else, just some light red wine vinegar. Light-medium bodied, with a tart, fruity mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Really simple but really nice. Bested expectations.

Pours a hazy amber color with white fizzy head. Oak, tartness, funk, and light fruits on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes tart and dry.

Reviewed from notes. Bottle share with (Myrick, BA), February 2013. This was poured into a chalice and a tulip. The appearance was a nice looking hazy red color with a one finger white foamy head in both glasses. The lacing slid quickly right on into the beer as it doesn’t stick around for barely anything. The smell had a fair amount of tart to sour raspberries really pounding my nose into submission. The taste was sour and extremely bitter, mouth puckering that lead into an extremely pummeling bitter and dry aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium in body and didn’t have much of a sessionability about it. I think it was just too dry ’cause after I was done drinking this thing I just pounded at least 2 gallons of water. Overall, well, its a sour ale, what does one expect? To me, I have yet to find one that I can "really" get into. This is just an over rated style.

Location: Bottled shared by Pinsky at dbarnold’s, 5/25/14

Aroma: The aroma has some sweet raspberry, tart notes, and some wood as well
Appearance: It pours a reddish color, leans beige-brown, with a beige head and decent lace
Flavor: The flavor is much like the nose, quite sweet, wood, and some tart fruit
Palate: The body is medium, it has a bit too much carbonation, and a slightly sticky finish
Overall Impression: I thought that this beer was a pretty good example of a sour/fruity beer, but not a great one.

Reddish orange mildly hazy with no head. Big funky aroma, sweet tart and barnyard character, gueuze like, with prominent fruit juice aroma as well, strawberry and raspberry. Very sour and acidic, very tart, semi-sweet, sour raspberry flavor, and more sour. Tasty and refreshing, solid choice for availability and price.
