2011 Bottle from Danís Taphouse in Boonsboro, MD. Pour is hazy burnt orange with a quickly dying off-white head. Aroma is fruity and acidic with definite notes of raspberry, oak, caramel, and fantastic bretty funk. Flavor shows sweet raspberry, vanilla, caramel, oak, orange zest, and more yeasty goodness. Overall body is moderate and sweet, followed with a drying moderate/heavy acidic finish. Great stuff. Imo, could use a little while longer in bottle to round out some rough edges, but overall a nice sour.

Vintage 2011 Pours blood orange with a lightly pink thick sheet. Smells of sour raspberries, some oak, graham and lacto. Flavor is sour with a slight sharp sweetness and a nice grain feeling. There are some vitamin flavors as well. I like the flavor of this one. Medium bodied with plenty of carb and an off dry finish. This beer is a surprise for me - Iím not a weyerbacher fan, but this vintage of this beer is good. Iíve got a "flat" 2010 in the cellar still, and hopefully itís nice, but this one was quite enjoyable. 3.5/4/4/3.5/4 Serving type: bottle 06-29-2012

Bottle, 2011 vintage, shared among my in-laws. Deep coppery amber with quite a lot of sediment. Sour raspberry aroma, lactic and oak undertones. Sour raspberry flavour with a lovely spicy funkiness, firm yoghurty acidity and sourness, light oak. Quite malty, but in balance with the other flavours-- quite reminiscent of a Flemish brown -- really excellent.

Tart, flavorful, complex. Really like this style. Good oak and vanilla flavors to balance.

Aromas of raspberry, lemon, and red wine. Hazy peach skin hue with some trub, almost like kombucha scoby, and with a fairly lasting off-white head. Dry and very acidic with flashes of raspberry mellowed by gentle oak spice. Crisp and cutting, with a light-medium body and an abrupt clean finish.

Bottle, caged and corked. Pours with a thin body, bright, shiny red and little head. The aroma is definitely fitting ... wild and outdoorsy, with a strong hint at the berries. This drinks with a puckeringly tart consistency, like candied berries and yeast, this drinks very nicely, and will definitely kill your sweet tooth! (#5292, 10/14/2013)

750ml c&c bottle served in a Town Hall Tulip. Thanks to BenTenison for the bottle. 2012 vintage. A: Pours a hazy grapefruit color with a thin white head forming on the pour. It recedes quickly to a thin ring with no real left down the glass. S: Sour raspberry with a sugary sweetness, almost like a warhead. Oaky with some T: Tons of sour pucker on this one. Slightly cheesy on the backend with some oak and vanilla. Tart raspberry with some enamel stripping sour notes. Definitely some funky and sour stuff here. M: Light, but extremely teeth grinding, enamel stripping in texture. It just coats your teeth and the back of your throat with an intense sourness. O: A little sour and the teeth coating qualities were a little much for me. A little one note. Serving type: bottle 07-19-2013

From a 75 cl bottle shared at Ryanís. Pours a clear reddish copper with almost no head. Brett aroma. Funky barnyard with some oak and raspberry. Lingering tart finish.
