2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Reviewed from notes. Bottle share with (Myrick, BA), February 2013.
This was poured into a chalice and a tulip.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy red color with a one finger white foamy head in both glasses. The lacing slid quickly right on into the beer as it doesn’t stick around for barely anything.
The smell had a fair amount of tart to sour raspberries really pounding my nose into submission.
The taste was sour and extremely bitter, mouth puckering that lead into an extremely pummeling bitter and dry aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium in body and didn’t have much of a sessionability about it. I think it was just too dry ’cause after I was done drinking this thing I just pounded at least 2 gallons of water.
Overall, well, its a sour ale, what does one expect? To me, I have yet to find one that I can "really" get into. This is just an over rated style.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Location: Bottled shared by Pinsky at dbarnold’s, 5/25/14
Aroma: The aroma has some sweet raspberry, tart notes, and some wood as well
Appearance: It pours a reddish color, leans beige-brown, with a beige head and decent lace
Flavor: The flavor is much like the nose, quite sweet, wood, and some tart fruit
Palate: The body is medium, it has a bit too much carbonation, and a slightly sticky finish
I thought that this beer was a pretty good example of a sour/fruity beer, but not a great one.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Reddish orange mildly hazy with no head. Big funky aroma, sweet tart and barnyard character, gueuze like, with prominent fruit juice aroma as well, strawberry and raspberry. Very sour and acidic, very tart, semi-sweet, sour raspberry flavor, and more sour. Tasty and refreshing, solid choice for availability and price.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Nice and red with a light pink head that lasts a short time. nice and tart with a hint of leathery barnyardish raspberry. Nice and dry, with a long lasting finish. Just the slightest burn.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Dark ruby with a thin pinkish head and active carbonation. Aroma is raspberry jam and a little barnyard. Taste follows suit and adds a light lactic note. Raspberry gets a little overwhelming as the beer warms. Very tart. Prickly carb and medium sticky mouthfeel. Good but needs a bit more balance in the taste.

1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Ive had many vintages of this beer... and never once have I been able to consume more than an ounce or two. Just had the 2014 release last night and it smelled like artificial diet raspberry soda and tasted like stomach acid aged in a vinegar barrel with raspberry syrup loaded with nutrasweet. Just enamel eating acetic bomb. Love sour beer but also like to still have a stomach liner at the end of the night.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle from the brewery. Pours a cloudy copper with grapefruit hues, nice frothy head, little lacing. Interesting, complex aromas from the fruit and brett--sour mixed with sweet, floral notes, raspberry, cherry. The brett hits your palate immediately, but it’s followed by some hints of sweetness on the back of the tongue before ending on a stiff bitter note. Decidedly sour but balanced with the dark fruit and citrus.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
2011 vintage..bottle pour..caramel ruby like color..active pop from cage and cork and decent head that dissipates..nose is solid with all types of complexity from the brett..funk..tart..vinous..raspberry..medium bodied on the mouthfeel with good initial tartness backed up by some warmth and oaky goodness from the barreling..quite an interesting interplay here with the fruit, tart, barrel action all helping to craft a nicely complex american take on a wild ale..well done indeed..
