COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We have made this release of our Brewer’s Select Series in time to help you enjoy your holidays. It is a festive combination of malts, Belgian yeast, and cherries. This dark chestnut brew has a nice caramel malt character, a tart cherry fruitiness that carries throughout, and a nice warming finish. As with all of our Brewers’ Select beers, Tango is available in draft at awesome Weyerbacher-supporting bars and restaurants and is made available in 12oz bottles at Weyerbacher’s Visitors Center only. This is a once and done limited release. Tango is the letter “T” in the NATO / phonetic alphabet. Belgian-Style Dark Ale brewed with cherries 9.6% ABV, 21IBU

This one is enjoyable but different. This beer is borderline lambic as it is spritty and fruity. Enjoy.

Draft from Xroads. Poured a muddy chestnut brown with a frothy light beige head. Aroma/flavor of Belgian yeast, brown bread, banana esters, black cherry juice. Medium body that is slightly creamy on the finish and average carbonation. This was actually pretty good with the ABV well hidden and not the usual alcho-bomb that Weyerbacher puts out.

750 ml bottle purchase at Georgio’s Liquors for $8.95. With the ABV marked at 10.6. Dark cloudy amber color with thin lace in the snifter. Aroma is black cherries covered in candy sugar and plums .

The flavor has mild cherry upfront leading into dark fruits and Belgian candi sugar. The alcohol is well hidden with a softer carbonation level. Overall it is about what it should be, I would drink it again if presented but not ever going out of my way to get another bottle.

750 mL bottle thanks to Mark (@Mg228). The pour is a strange dark ruby red with a big white head and minimal lace. The aroma is typically Belgian with a nice addition of strong cherry. I think it might be a little lore sour than anything, but it's not bad. The flavor is a little more barnyard-y with a solid sour hit. The cherry is really hidden here. The mouth feel is a touch thin and nicely carbonated. The aftertaste is a little sour and lightly fruity. Not too bad ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a clear dark amber-red with a good-sized off-white head. Malty aroma, with wood, berries, yeast, vanilla. The cherries come through more in the taste, starts very tart, then picks up malt toastyness, with some caramel and wood. Lingering sour cherry malt notes. Nice!
