4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured oil black, with a thin, tan, bubbly head. Aroma is a lot of coffee and baked chocolate chip cookies. Taste is anything but tiny: big, robust notes of coffee and chocolate, with a smooth finish. The alcohol was not apparent at all.

Wow. Strong in every sense. A bit of a waste to drink it this late in the festival. Umami and more. Like alcohol. Need to taste it again.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle at Christine and Daves, Thanksgiving warm down cheers to Dave, 28/11/13 corked and caged.
Pitch black with a good sized dirty tan head that eventually dissipates to nothing after putting up a fight of sorts!
Nose is rich on dark chocolate, Belgian yeast esters, roast malt, dark berry fruits.
Taste comprises rich fruit cake mix, dark chocolate, roast malt, Belgian yeast esters, dark berry fruits.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, light booze coming through in the finale.
Decent Belgian influenced impy. The alcohol is well integrated and not overbearing.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a almost flat looking black with a small dark brown head. Aromas of lightly tart dark fruit, plenty of roast, some black cock. Tangy and chewy. Taste is pretty manly, man gravy, heavy tranny fluid. The light tartness covers up much of the booze. Super high boost. I like this a bunch.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Corked bomber from Woodmans in Waukesha. Pours an opaque black with a bit of a foamy brown head. Nice lacing - which, interestingly disappeared along with the head down through the glass. Aroma has deep and rich Swiss chocolates, heavy roast, some vinous notes ... and alcohol. Taste is of sweet molasses, dark chocolate, espresso notes, vanilla, some earthiness ... and alcohol. Full bodied and slightly rough with alcohol, although not very hot - more simply present. Velvety through the tongue with any kick in the back of the throat. Lowly carbonated. Finishes bittersweet roasty with some alcohol length. This is a nice brew. Saw it hundreds of times prior to picking up. Perhaps cellaring another for a year or two would mellow the edges and put this where it could go.

23.11.2013, 0,75l bottle @ home:
Nice brown creamy longlasting head. Aroma is sweet, dark malts, dark sugar, dark fruits, sweet licorice, coffee, hints of vanilla and unripe banana. Taste is very sweet, dark malts, sweet licorice, dark fruits, dark sugar, sour coffee, vanilla, unripe banana, grass, hints of almond essence. Medium bitterness. Fair enough, kind of disappointing.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
In short: A simplistic big sweet roasted stout that is not so hard to drink. Acceptable.
How: Bottle 750ml, consumed when many months of age.
The look: Black body topped by a small tan head.
In long: Nose is rich big fat black malts, overcooked caramel, lit cigarette, light notes of cardboard. In mouth the beer feels huge but thankfully the generous carbonation prevents it from feeling syrupy. Taste is as malty as expected. Big fat blackened malts and then more blackened malts, light chocolaty notes, some cardboard, burnt bread, burnt wood, burnt tobacco. Quite roasted which helps to hide some of the sweetness. Not my style of beer but a lot less offensive than I feared it would, in fact this 12% Weyerbacher brew was quite acceptable. This beer is huge, the name “Tiny” is a lie, don’t fall for this misleading name, like this so-called “answering machine” I bought 5 years ago and it hasn’t yet answered a single question I asked it.

big bottle aged a bit in my cellar: pours like a big bad stout, smells and tastes the same. overall I got a lot of heat from the booze - even with some age on this bottle. lots of malty-sweetness, and not much Imperial Stout roast. I enjoyed it,overall; even though it seemed to be a little lacking in most "grading" categories.

11/25/2010. From bottle. Roasted malt, dark fruit, chocolate, coffee aromas. Black with a tan head. Good balance and flavors throughout. A little bit too much alcohol burn on the finish.
