(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of MaltOMeal. Pours an almost clear golden with an off-white head. Tart, fruity nose with plenty of alcohol showing. Very full-bodied, notes of caramel and fruit - overripe fruit also. A little low in carbonation. Massive alcohol in the finish. A little rough but not unpleasant. 080408

Bottle sampled on 9/15/07: Pours a transparent deep golden with a wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of sweet pale malt and some fresh piny notes. Body starts full and caramely malty sweet with good fresh earthy hoppy character toward a crisp bittersweet, full finish. A decent barleywine that should age pretty well.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours slight cloudy orange with a fully diminished white head. Slight spiced and mild citric note. Flavour is solid alcohol driven with a cornish and solid malt base. Alcohol dense finish.
