Bottle 12fl.oz.

[ Trade by madmitch76 ]. [ Vintage 2007 ]. Clear medium orange amber colour with virtually none head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, oxidide, toffee, alcohol, plum notes. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, fruity, caramel, alcohol, sweet candy, plum. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a rim of beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt, alcohol, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of fruit and alcohol, that burns lightly in the mouth. Too strong and too simple. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours slight cloudy orange with a fully diminished white head. Slight spiced and mild citric note. Flavour is solid alcohol driven with a cornish and solid malt base. Alcohol dense finish.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of MaltOMeal. Pours an almost clear golden with an off-white head. Tart, fruity nose with plenty of alcohol showing. Very full-bodied, notes of caramel and fruit - overripe fruit also. A little low in carbonation. Massive alcohol in the finish. A little rough but not unpleasant. 080408

<i>Bottled, thanks Baggio </i> Almost clear pale bronze, small head. Aroma of vanilla and raspberries. Estery, thick and phenolic. Full bodied with doug hand syrup as well as sugar and bubblegum. Lots of flavour, bat lack of focus and too much sweetness reduces my enjoyment.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a sweetish malty dark fruit aroma. Sweetish malty spicy dark fruit flavor with hints of caramel.Has a sweetish fruity malty spicy dark fruit finish.

Bottle @ "Det er meget mørkt i Ulfborg", November 2012. Pours muddy orange with a thin white layer on top. Oxidation, caramel and plum. Flavor is cellar, dust, caramel, alcohol and fruit. Vinous.

Clean light amber, copper color; it pours viscously, with no sound, but there is some carbonation, and the head is small and creamy. Aroma of caramel, sweet, a bit phenolic, or maybe band Aid, and alcohol; not exciting. The body is quite strong, the mouthfeel is extremely oily, almost muddy, also because of the low carbonation, but unfortunately it feels like gulping eggwhite, never happened before; very sweet flavor, light malt; ordinary bitterness; this bottle can easily be compared to a boozy extra Strong Lager, the only variant being the sweetness, and a bit more of balance, but joined by the sad lack of features. I don’t think this has ever been much better, even when it was fresher.

(22oz bottle) Pours a clear golden body with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, herbs, maple, cherry, and raisins. Flavor of cherry, raisins, plum, toffee, and caramel.

Aroma: a lot more alcohol in the aroma on top of the sweet ctystal malt and a fruity character,
Flavor: a bit more bitterness coming out in the flavor but the fruity character remains in control,
