3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel Florentin. Thanks David C. Slightly hazy deep golden. Fruity aroma with malt, some caramel and candy-ish notes. Sweetish flavor, fruity, slightly caramelly, slightly spicy, with a drier finish. Medium-bodied.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle into a pint glass.
A: Pours a mildly hazy burnt copper color. Before the dregs were poured in, it was clear amber. Thereís about one and a half fingers of an eggshell-colored head, having that soapy froth expected from a Belgian-style ale. The lacing left behind is pretty decent.
S: This has plenty of fresh-cut apples, some hints of apricot, and a little pear, as well. The fruitiness here is good, and itís subtly backed by a bready yet spicy yeast note. I even pick up a kiss of hops. While the aroma is íbasicí, thereís no doubt it works quite well.
T: It starts off pretty fruity (apricots, apples, and pears mainly), before itís quickly replaced with bready notes. It finishes pretty spicy, as well: the black pepper and herbs I pick up slightly reminds me of a saison. But make no mistake, this isnít a saison. No real complaints apart from the lack of depth.
M: Any Belgian ale worth its weight in ghost chilies should always finish dry and somewhat fizzy - in laymanís terms, it should feel like itís evaporating off the tongue. This one does that. However, it seems to rely too much on the powerful carbonation doing that job, as once that goes, its residue sticks around on the tongue a bit more than it should.
O: Another solid offering from Weyerbacher. They hit the basics bang on, but there isnít quite enough ízingí to make this a stellar example of the style. Still, Iíd drink it again.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Light amber appearance. Slight haze with particulate matter dispersed throughout the beer. A nice sized white head with good head retention and lacing. Moderate citrus notes on the aroma. Flavor has citrus notes upfront with moderate pepper notes on the end with hints of bubblegum. Mouthfeel is medium and the finish is medium dry. The carbonation is medium. Overall, it's an easy drinking beer.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hazy amber pour. Nose of yeast spice and fruit esters with bitter pine and a weird smoke-like aspect. Flavor is fruity malt, Belgian candy, deep toasted malt, biscuit, and finishes with a deep, dry, pine bitterness. Lingering pine and fruit. Okay but a tad odd.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma: a mixture of hay malt with a slight underlying floral
Appearance: amber, hazy, white foam, frothy head
Taste: Odd mixture of medium sweetness with a salty finish
Palate: thin feel, medium body, lightly bitter, long finish
Overall: a pale ale that is an odd mixture of malt and hops. The hop taste really comes out at the finish, lasts long, and gets a little salty

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear golden/amber color with a quickly dissapating thick white head. Aroma is of esters, yeast, clove, slight malt, and slight grain. Medium bodied. Flavor is of malts, hops, slight yeast and clove, with a hint of grapefruit. Leaves a yeast and hop finish. Itís surprising how it smells like a Belgian, yet tastes like an American Pale Ale. Good job.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Unknown bottle date.
Poured to NB globe.
A: Pours a hazy amber ale with a persistent, peanut colored, three finger head. The residue sticks to the glass - tacky. Good looker.
S: Yeasty nose. Grain, simple earthy hops. Hints of tea. Maybe a hint of banana. Very simple and straitforward.
T: Very metallic. Bitter with charred grain flavors.
M: Medium body with very high carbonation. Leaves little reminiscence of its presence.
D: Forgettable. Worth a try. Nice as an extra.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at the brewery. Pours clear copper with a creamy off white head. Tastes like grapefruit, resin, hops, musky. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like light hops, light citrus, and light musk.
