3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
(2010 bottle purchased from a store that must not get too much traffic) Pours a clear dark amber color with a medium white head that stays around for the time being. Aroma is certainly unusual, but intriguing, with plenty of soap, funnel cake, candied lemon, earth, orange zest, and must. Really just an odd amalgamation of competing scents that somehow coalesce into something sniffable. The taste is regrettably less interesting, with a basal sweetness that lacks any sort of assignable character, and thatís coupled with some leafy, papery, hop bitterness reminiscent of a hop graveyard. Slight biscuit notes shimmer on the finish, and an earthy and almost funky flavor arises as well. A bit cracked black pepper. Mouthfeel is medium and carbonation is pretty lively. Overall an intriguing and odd journey from sniff to sip.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Golden opaque color and appearance. It has the Belgium style bite. Not a very heavy beer but has a good body to it.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a hazy orange with light white head. Aroma is orange and so is the taste. It ends just a little bitter (some metallic flavor hidden in there), but is smooth overall.

1.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
I think that there was something wrong with this beer. Strong harsh flavor that very metallic and sour - not in a good way. long aftertaste that was not pleasant.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at home. The aroma is apple juice, belgian yeast, cinnamon. Medium bodied, the flavor profile is centered around the fruity yeasty esters. The American hops contribute a piney dry finish. Good all around.
