COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Viridis Lupulus is a celebration of the renewal of spring. This will be a new seasonal, being released in spring / early summer each year. Each brew will feature a different selection of hops from year to year. Viridis Lupulus is an unfiltered golden-copper IPA with an aggressive hop profile. Massive amounts of Apollo, Calypso, Centennial, and Galaxy hops fill this beer with dank citrus and tropical aromas. The bottle-conditioning will propel the aromas out of your glass and create a tight, fluffy head. This beer is a pure hop experience!

From a bomber. Pours opaque orange copper with a foamy, frothy off white head. Tastes like strong hops, strong malt, strong orange citrus. Sweet, dry feel, but medium body and carbonation. Smells like malty, nutty, orange, sweet hops, and malt.

Bottle. Pours hazy amber with frothy off-white head. Aroma is cereal and toasted malts, faint caramel, floral and grassy notes, lemon zest, and light orange peel. Flavor is grassy and pine hop bitterness forward with biscuit malt base and some grapefruit esters; dry finish with some lingering bitterness. Medium body and carbonation.

glennmastrange (2145) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - MAR 13, 2014
Bottle. Moderate roasted and caramel for the malt, light to moderate herbs and pine for the hops, dough for the yeast, with a hint of coriander. Head is average to large, frothy, off-white with some darker swirls, has good lacing and is fully diminishing. Color is murky medium amber/orange. Flavor starts faintly sweet and moderately acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is medium, oily, with a lively carbonation. A little too malt forward for a true to style DIPA but it’s full of flavors and is very easy to drinking.

Vintage 2013. Hazy orange copper pour with good white head. Slightly stinky Orange citrus and forest pine aroma and flavor. Subtle notes of honey and caramel malt. A little hop sweetness up front, but Very bitter on the tail. Not amazing, but not certainly drinkable.

A very drinkable IPA. Not aggressive enough to be deemed a DIPA, but perhaps a month earlier trip to Capone’s would have made a difference.

Great beer. Great color, lacing, aroma, taste. Hops, and sweetness. Great tasting double IPA.

Large, rocky, off white head with excellent retention and a ton of coating lace.Ugly ass, murky orange/copper hued brew, looks like Tang. Nice, spicy hop nose, floral and earthy with notes of fruit, citrus and mango with large piny effort. Body is full, juicy, chewy and resiny with a very gentle carbonation, sorta silky. Big pine and citrus flavors are daunting but worth the effort and bury the malts easily. Lil sulphur finishes a dry biting hop bitterness. No need for a C+C bottle though. Fairly big brew.

Hazy orange body, medium sized white head, soapy lacing. Orange rind, resin, and pine. Light crackery malts. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, aggressive bitterness. A bit heavy handed with the hops, but enjoyable.

Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks beerandbeyond. Cloudy orange. Lovely hoppy aroma full of citrus and tropical fruits, a bit "green". Dry-ish flavor with faint sweetness, lots of fruity hops and a nice big bitterness. Medium-bodied, slightly heavy. A good one.
