Viridis Lupulus is a celebration of the renewal of spring. This will be a new seasonal, being released in spring / early summer each year. Each brew will feature a different selection of hops from year to year. Viridis Lupulus is an unfiltered golden-copper IPA with an aggressive hop profile. Massive amounts of Apollo, Calypso, Centennial, and Galaxy hops fill this beer with dank citrus and tropical aromas. The bottle-conditioning will propel the aromas out of your glass and create a tight, fluffy head. This beer is a pure hop experience!

750ml corked and caged bottle. Picked it up for cheap and sadly realized it was a 2014 after purchase. Hazed amber gold, smells like imported ipa, most of the shelton line, which ive grown strangely accustomed to. Flavor is caramel and bitterness, very shallow for an ipa, if you like Mikkeller check it.

Cloudy golden orange color with a white frothy head. Aroma of tropical fruit, caramel, and yeast. Tropical fruit flavor with muted hop bitterness and hint of yeast. Decent beer.

Cloudy golden color , big white head. Aroma of tropical fruits , honey and caramel . My bottle wasn't fresh , so taste was faded , but still good. Sweetness balanced by bitterness . Classic DIPA.

From a 75 cl bottle shared at home. Pours a hazy copper with an off white head. Grassy hop nose. Flavors of citrus an alfalfa. Bitter finish.

Ahh I’m quite sure I had an old bottle. Hops were very faded and astringent. Very little malt character... just not good at all. Would love to try fresh.

Poured from 750ml bottle. This bottle is certainly past its prime. I purchased it in December and subsequently learned it was a spring release. Thought I should open it before the end of the year. Very hazy, coppery orange with a 4-finger billowing head and very good lacing. Aroma of citrus, muted tropical fruit, pine, grass and malt. Taste of light fruit, citrus, aging tropical fruit, pine and caramel. Medium body and high/medium carbonization. I'm sure this was better and with brighter hops when it was fresh. The only date on the bottle was "2014," so I had no way of knowing it was not fresh. In any case, I can only rate the beer in front of me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy copper body under a one inch frothy off-white head thy had nice retention. The nose is a little more muted on the hops than I was expecting. It’s citrusy, but there’s a heavy caramel component that obscures them pretty well. The flavor is fairly bitter up front, but the heavy sweet maltiness really takes over in the middle. A decent lingering bitterness on the back end. There’s a nice light yeastiness that softens and rounds out the hops pretty nicely. Medium bodied with a slight resiny cling on the back end. Decent DIPA, but not as bright and crisp as I like for the style.

Pours orange with a white fluffy head. Aroma is tropical fruit, citrus and yeast. Taste is moderate bitters with some sweetening. Medium bodied, alcohol well hidden, smooth with a quick finish. Overall this is a delicious IIPA that holds up well throughout.

(Bomber bottle). Brought to Mark's house to split. The bottle is clearly past prime as it is a springtime beer and now November. Nice hazy amber complexion. Bitter hop flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
