COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Viridis Lupulus is a celebration of the renewal of spring. This will be a new seasonal, being released in spring / early summer each year. Each brew will feature a different selection of hops from year to year. Viridis Lupulus is an unfiltered golden-copper IPA with an aggressive hop profile. Massive amounts of Apollo, Calypso, Centennial, and Galaxy hops fill this beer with dank citrus and tropical aromas. The bottle-conditioning will propel the aromas out of your glass and create a tight, fluffy head. This beer is a pure hop experience!

Bottle. Strong grapefruit aroma. F**k!! Really bittery. Cant feel almost nothing but the hops but still a bit sweet. Not my fav. Style but good beer.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy copper body under a one inch frothy off-white head thy had nice retention. The nose is a little more muted on the hops than I was expecting. It’s citrusy, but there’s a heavy caramel component that obscures them pretty well. The flavor is fairly bitter up front, but the heavy sweet maltiness really takes over in the middle. A decent lingering bitterness on the back end. There’s a nice light yeastiness that softens and rounds out the hops pretty nicely. Medium bodied with a slight resiny cling on the back end. Decent DIPA, but not as bright and crisp as I like for the style.

Pours orange with a white fluffy head. Aroma is tropical fruit, citrus and yeast. Taste is moderate bitters with some sweetening. Medium bodied, alcohol well hidden, smooth with a quick finish. Overall this is a delicious IIPA that holds up well throughout.

(Bomber bottle). Brought to Mark's house to split. The bottle is clearly past prime as it is a springtime beer and now November. Nice hazy amber complexion. Bitter hop flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a nice hazy orange color with nice foamy head. Aroma pulls a nice hop and citus note. To taste you pick up the hops immediately with a nice malt note on the back end. Finishes great on the palate. This is a great beer!

Potent aroma of toasted hops, sweet hops, wheat, pale malt, hay and caramel. Flavor is the same. Bitterness is strong, hops are sweet, finish is sticky. Another IIPA from Weyerbacher but I like the diversity in them.

Big bottle. Pours a golden orange color with a medium head. Cloudy. Tropical citrus hop aromas fill the nose. Heavy bitterness, with a slight caramel malt backbone. Big Bitter finish with tropical hop notes throughout. Good head retention. Nice one.

Poured a light orange color with a white head. Aroma of oxidized hops, cardboard and booze. Flavor was bitter sweet, and caramely. Old.

it has a real aggressive hop bite with a slight sweetness. It calms on the palate quickly and leaves a nice taste in your mouth. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The unfiltered-ness of this beer is evident in the cloudy hues of orange and amber, as well as the unctuous, rich, yeasty notes that waft up from the active head. Lots of fruit, moderately bitter, and very memorable.
