3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours muddy gold, small white head. Heavy clove and light bubblegum. Basically per style, the body seems a bit to full tho. Meh.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dates on the bottle are "04/15/15" and "10/15/15." Best by and born on.
This was poured into a mug.
The appearance was a semi-hazy yellow color with less than a finger’s worth of foamy white head that dissipated within less than forty seconds. No lacing was seen.
The smell started off with a nice light sweet yeastiness rolling over top of a light coriander. Added sweet fresh grassiness proves a nice eloquent herbal-ness to balance.
The taste was mainly sweet with the yeastiness balancing yet rolling underneath. A nice sweet to spicy semi-floral and grassy yeastiness strolls into the aftertaste and leads to a wet finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a super sessionable quality about it. Carbonated nicely as a witbier, the sessionability on this is amazing.
Overall, some may say this is watery, I say this is just a really sessionable witbier, pass its respected food. It would so go well with.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 oz bottle from fridge poured into tulip. Coror is very hazy light yellow with one finger white head, which is gone rather quickly. Aroma is yeasty. Taste is lightly sweet. Verry light bitter. Strong notes of coriander. Minor notes of orange peel. Can sorta taste the grains of paradise. Medium bodied beer. Light to moderate carbonation. Light and refreshing. Well done wit. Good summer craft. Overall great beer.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 4/8/2015. Pours moderately hazy bright golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, light banana, coriander, pepper, clove, wheat, bread, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and bready malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, light banana, coriander, pepper, clove, wheat, bread, light honey, herbal, floral, grass, and yeast earthiness. Fair amount of earthy yeast spiciness and slight bready tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, orange peel, pear, apple, light banana, coriander, clove, wheat, bread, light honey, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Damn nice robustness and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/yeast/spice balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish, Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish as expected of 4.6%. Overall this is a very nice witbier style. All around good robustness, complexity, and balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and bready malt flavors; and very smooth to to drink with robust flavors for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
DATE TASTED: May 16,2015... GLASSWARE: Weihenstephan weizen... OCCASION: chilling with the boys after baseball and cub scouts... APPEARANCE: tawny, misty and slow in its effervescence; white head is soapy and fizzy, with a swift descent into the body; still, the head does retain a quarter-inch consistently around... AROMA: banana, orange and coriander--all accounted for and refreshingly light; anise is tough to detect... PALATE: refreshingly light, but with a dull thinness that only wakens to life when swirled in the mouth; due mostly to the pepper, the finish lasts well into the next sip... TASTE: mostly orange peel--not a bad thing, but not as complex as purported by the label; the payoff, however, is in the grains of paradise, a hard, punchy pepper that balances the banana and citrus nicely... OVERALL: Weyerbacher has come a long way--do I write this in all their recent reviews?--creating a refreshing beer, comfortable in its ABV%...I originally had their White Sun or Blanche way back and believe this is either beer rebranded...if so, this is definitely a thirst quencher with enough flavor to be enjoyed without sun or sweat.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours a pale straw yellow body with a slight yeast haze under a one finger fizzy white head. The nose is quite spicy and bright with a heavy orange peel and coriander quality. Just a light hint of yeastiness pushing through. The flavor is a little overly spiced with coriander for my tastes, but the orange peel tastes pretty nice. Minimal yeastiness, light clean wheat, finishes with a bit of a soapy note from the coriander that really lingers. Light bodied and fizzy mouthfeel. On the whole, a little overly spiced for my tastes in the style.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a pale yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is of banana, yeast, bready malts, wheat, and lemon. Taste is about the same as the aroma. Has a medium-light body with a semi dry, slightly watery, mostly sweet, medium finish. Overall, a decent wit beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz bottle. Hazy thin yellow-tan body. Definitely get the spices in the aroma, some nice wheat tones as well. Pretty solid Wit, has a nice depth to it, certainly better than 90% of US Wits out there. True to style, with a doughy vanilla wheat tone, and a well balanced spicing. Refreshing, very enjoyable.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours a very light yellow with haze and quickly dissipating head. The taste has some sour fruit. This does come across as a typical Belgian Wit, an average beer at best.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
(retrieved from 08/2013 Midwest jpg backlog, PT bottle from Ridgeview Liquor, Green Bay) Dishwater citrus nose on same palate: soggy feeling of underfermented yeast on a watery body, overspiced with mainly coriander and anise out of context, and quite some overhopping. An accidental, lazy potpourri of a White IPA rather than a suave and mellow wit.

Pale yellow, aroma of funky lemon. Tastes of lemony medicine. Smooth. Easy going.
