Wit is a crisp and hazy Belgian-Style Wit. Wit is Weyerbacher’s thirst-quenching spring and early summer ale. The nose has a light spiciness from the coriander, orange peel, grains of paradise, and star anise. The palate reveals a mild, refreshing and effervescent wheat beer that finishes with just a hint of tartness.

Tap at Mudville 9. Pours a hazy, light yellow with a small, foamy white head. Bread, yeast and spices in the aroma. Flavor is lightly sweet with some coriander and mild fruits (banana, citrus), along with a pervasive though light spiciness. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes semi-crisp with some lingering yeast and bread notes. Not bad.

A rather pale sickly yellow, with barely a haze, and an anemic white head. Odour is better, with fresh oranges , rose water and coriander. In mouth, way too lemony, with notes of juniper berries, like a gin, and menthol. Very thin, raspy mouthfeel, too dry.
