ChrisOs Marvellous Pre GBBF Mega Tasting. Light haze on this gold beer, little white head. Light dry palate. Mild creamy malt - dry. Okay mild citrus - orange and grapefruit marmalade. Dry finish. Too dry.

Bottle at Chriso’s 2012 Pre-GBBF Shindig, London. Pours faintly hazy yellow with a strong, white foam head. Moderately dry lemon on the nose. Light sweet flavor, dry citrus, some rind, light dough and grapefruit. Light bodied with average carbonation. Clean finish, further notes of grapefruit and mild lemon. Good stuff.

Bottle 500ml. w. swing top @ home on the terrace.

ABV: 5.4%. Clear medium orange colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, dusty grass, dough notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dry, dusty grass. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120731]

Bottle at Chris O’s pre-GBBF shindig, 2012. Cloudy yellow pour with a white head. Wheat and baked apple aroma. Pear and baked apple flavour. Fruity finish.

Bottle @ Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig. Pours light gold with a medium head. The nose is apricots and light summer fruits. THe taste is orchard fruits, clean honey and sugary grain cereal. Medium body, decently fizzy. Overall, this is fairly refreshing. Job done.

Bottled@chriso pre-gbbf shindig 2012. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is caramel, some slight citrus as well as mild wooden and herbal notes. Flavour is fruity, floral, sweet malty with some resiny and wooden notes. Nice, but a bit thin in the palate.

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig, 2012. It pours straw yellow, with a thin white head. The nose is light spice, dough and some light fruitiness. The taste is dough, straw, floral, hay, cardboard and yeast, with a dry finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and velvety mouth-feel. Ok.

Bottle at Chriso’s pre-GBBF Shindig 2012. Poured a particulate yellow with a medium sized white head. Grain, wheat, yeast, lemon, slightly herbal & floral all round. Light to medium body, softish mouthfeel with a crisp though short & soft finish.

Pre GBBF shindig 2012. Gold lasting white head. Tasty English style beer good hops good drinkability. Lovely.
