The head is stable and brown, the body black. It smells sweet, woody, darkmalty. The taste is darkmalty, less sweet, woody, nice a bit aromatic-peat. Nice 11/12/12/12/-/12

Bottle 500ml. w. swing top @ The Danish Summer Gathering, TFODRBSG12, Ulfborg.

Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dusty coffee, wood, sweet wood. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, chocolate, sweet wood, coffee - mocha, cacao - vanilla notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. Very good and well balanced ;-) [20120818]

Bottle, at TFODRBSG-12. A clear-looking, dark brown beer topped by a small, beige head. Mocha aroma with roasted malts and chocolate. Some hoppy hints. A bit one dimensional maybe, but really well smelling. Full-bodied and soft on the palate. The flavor too is really pleasant, mostly its mocha, with some dark chocolate. Pleasant hoppy bitterness that lasts for a while. As already mentioned, its a bit one dimensional, but its also very pleasant and tasteful. 120818

Drank at Cafe Abseits - 28/04/12. Poured into a large tulip glass ink black with a mahoosive dirty coffee colour head that retained well. Rich roasted malts and coffee on the nose. Great roasted coffee taste, malts, toffee, sugars, dark fruit. Fairly full bodied and great mouthfeel - massages the throat. Really decent porter. Thought this was just as coffee as the coffe stout which I had the night before but didnt review.
