More than decent sample courtesy of Marko, via Fiulijn, great thanks to both of them! It poured very pale yellow, almost clear body with no legs. Wood, honey, sugary and alcoholic aroma. Weaker flavor, sweetish, a bit peaty or woody like fir-wood. Medium body, pleasant, slightly warming longer finish. Nice, easy going and pleasant mead, though nothing stellar.

Sample courtesy of Alex (huge thanks!)
Very pale yellowish body. Very light aroma, strange but not inherently bad. Smells remarkably like saké, only a slightly soapy (chlorine but in a good way if that’s possible) sweet note sets it apart. Ok, the mouthfeel is remarkably saké-like too, but there’s a lovely gummibear-like honey note that helps it a lot ! Light but alcohol still shows in the finnish, givig some bitterness perhaps. The honey notes are nice, but the rest is strange and slightly off balance. Hmm, rating it the same as the Wagners and I liked it better than that one.

Bottle 750ml. @ [ Tasting by fiulijn ].

Clear light yellow colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate honey, fruity. Flavour is moderate sweet and light light acidic with a average to long duration, honey, dry, apple notes. Body is light to medium, texture is syrupy to watery, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20110917]

Bottle, from a shop in Antwerpen. Amber, no head or condition. Sweet and malty with hints of honey, alcohol and a slight vinous character in the nose, heavily sweet and sticky in the mouth and lingeringly sticky sweet in the finish.

This is a sweet mead! Golden colour. Violent honey taste dominates finish and flavour. A like this one. It is very delicious.
