Aroma of mid-sweet malts and leafy hops. Taste of leafy hops mingled with chocolate and nuts. Bitter ending. Medium to thin bodied. Ok partner to the food (Manchester, 21.01.2013).

Pint from cask (handpull) at Manchester & County (JDW), Manchester. Copper coloured with a small head. Aroma of malt, fruits, caramel and citrus. Sweet with a pleasantly bitter and slightly citrussy finish. A bit watery, but pleasant and refreshing. (2013-01-25)

Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, malty, fruity, nutty, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120117]

Gravity, Hinckley 2011, 16/09/11. Dirty copper with a fleeting ring of bubbles. Barely distinguishable caramelised sugar, watery apple fruit aroma. More flavour with a soft plummy streak, dunked Hobnob notes, sultana, even a dab of demerara-sweetened milky coffee. Decent enough, just feels a bit unfinished and watery in the finish.
