3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pretty much like the others say: brown colored, roasted caramel like aroma and flavor. Nice bitterness.
Too much to add, too little to say :)

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. Clear brownish color, short head. Aroma of caramel and roasted malt, some hop. Taste is more like an old ale, bit sweet, caramelly, slight roasted, bit bitter.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled@Poirottiís Skotoberfest 2007. Surprise found among the Broughtonís. Rubyish amber colour with a small, but longlasting beigeish head. Sweet caramel malts and some slight hoppyness and raisins in the nose. Flavour is a lot of fruity hops, with some caramel malts and raisins. Aftertaste is like cherrycores. A really pleasant thing.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml bottle (Poirotti, Helsini, Skotoberfest 2007)
Rich red, thin steady head. Sweet malty aroma. Very lively in the mouth. Fruity, gently malty taste, plummy and raisiny. Cherry too. Full-bodied but mellow taste.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500 ml bottle, bought in Edinburgh. ABV is 5.0%. Copper coloured beer, large and lasting off-white head. Malty aroma with vinous notes, also plenty of caramel, notes of bakery. Soft mouthfeel. Malty flavour with caramel and hints of dark fruits, but not as sweet as expected. Very moderate hops, the finish feels a bit "empty". Still a nice enough beer to drink.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Amber with a thin white head. Spicy malt almost Christmas ale like aroma. Rasins, malt and yeast flavour but watery. A little thin on the palate but still tasty, Personally Iíd rather have a more solid beer with a much higher abv, but hey thatís just me?

A Mes rate:
Bottle from Peckhams but supped at home. First off, must mention the cool bottle. Love the embossed glass hops at the top of the bottle. Nice shape too. Nice translucent red chestnut colout with a thin cream coloured film. Nice mellow sweet malt nose with a little caramel. Slight nasty note in the flavour that lets it down a little. Burnt malt, quite toasty. Bit of brown sugar and plenty of tobacco. Bitter note in the finish. Slightly thin in the mouth. Not bad but nothing to set the world alight.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled. Nice ruby beer. If you want a beer with full sweetness, look no further. If you want some bitterness to balance, youíll be better off with something else. But its by no means a bad beer.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Aroma of mainly caramel malts with some chocolate notes. Brown coloured, with a lasting, thin off-white-beige head. Taste is sweet, with caramel malts, some chocolate, some dried fruits, bit salty in the end. Dry finish.
